Awakino River Lodge
What an amazing lodge. So well set up and very cosy in front of the fire on a cold west coast evening. Garry was an amazing host and his book collection will keep you entertained for hours. We will be back to fill up the house with our friends!

This part of New Zealand is indeed a peaceful town. Wonderful place for relaxation. Full of awesome views. The locals in the area are nice also.

Great variety of food to choose from. They cook fish that you have caught. Friendly service easy to access straight off main road

Excellent place to meet up with family and friends. The lodge has everything you need except food. Mokau has a dairy 5 minutes up the road if you do need something.
