Terribly rude service. The guy who saw us today - What a rude man. Our 4 year old had $4 to spend of his own money, had chosen a toy he wanted to buy, was taking it to the counter and the guy gets off his private phone call and starts berating my kid for “playing” with the toys. I politely told him my kid had chosen a toy and was coming to buy it, he responded with “everyone says that” so we kept our money and left his store. What an experience. -10 stars.I’ve just seen others reviews and wish I’d read before going in! There are other wonderful shops and businesses in town and we’ve loved meeting & buying from them!

I rarely write poor reviews, however, after my experience yesterday I feel like I must. About 5 minutes after entering the store with my 2 children I was looking at a plastic Halloween mask when a man appeared yelling at me, telling me not to touch. I started to explain that I was about to buy the item when he screamed I not sell you or your kids anything!" He then began screaming in Chinese and my daughter ran out of the shop (she's 11 years old)

Really bad customer service , I was going to buy a item but the zip seemed like it might break I asked if that if it does break if I can bring it back they said no which goes against new Zealands consumer guarantees act . I will be reporting them. Everything is heavily overpriced . I would not recommend not going there . Very very rude as well just to top it off. I think the store might need to train their staff on NewZealand laws and also new Zealand people as they were not friendly at all. Not the kiwi way very disappointed.

Very rude store manager that told our children to not play with stock and to put it back not knowing that we were actually holding the stuff we wanted to buy and he kept saying we need to put it back and not play with the stock. We left without buying anything. Very bad customer service - not going back there again. Many other lovely local shops to consider and to purchase gifts from

It was alright but my toy gun broke as expected and I checked there sight and it said they where still open until 5 30 so I walked down and it closes at four.

The guy running this store is a clown. Pedantic about the smallest of things, and spent the whole time watching his big screen security camera and zooming in on our kids looking for any excuse to tell them off. Douchebags.
