My skin is clear, my stomach is full and so is my heart. :) The portions here are incredibly generous, affordable to the boot, delicious, and filling on a cold winter's day. I've had many agedashi tofu but Japanese Dining You makes one of the most comforting ones out in the CBD. The staff are sweet and leave cute notes when you order.If you come here, it's illegal not to order the croquettes. Fried, soft goodness.

Grabbed some takeout as it was below our Hotel and damn!!! I had the teriyaki salmon with noodles, hubby had the mince and cheese curry and every mouthful was delicious. Better yet the price was unbeatable for such good food. $25 for both meals. If we ever get the chance to call in again we definitely will.

I used to travel several times a year between Taipei and Tokyo, this one reminds me of the good old days.Very authentic Japanese family style curry on the rice.Japanese pickle is delicious.Japanese curry is very mild with heaps of vegetables and fruits as the based ingredients.Even kids love to eat Japanese curry.Good on the rice also good to cook with noodles.Most impressive is this restaurant is so cheap, $7 you get yourself a yummy Japanese curry rice bowl which you can't find anywhere else in Auckland.

I ordered from Doordash! Cuz I found this restaurant full of my uni memories! Lol! I haven’t eat it from 2017!But guess what? Still yummy! Still cheapest one compared to other restaurants!Thx for your yummy curry dishes and lovely message!:)

Probably one of the most filling meals you’ll get here in CBD for less than $10 ($7-7.50 to be exact). They pack it with rice & curry, definitely a nice spot to go on a rainy day. Will for sure be back.

One of the best place still exists in AucklandUsed to go there like every day when I was Uni student and it was when they back in Queen Street and $5 but ever since when they move to new place and I graduated I never visit this place anymoreBut today I got my chance to visit this place again !Ngl it’s still one of the best place in Auckland !1) the price is amazing cheap! Used to be $5 now is $7 but hey this is still a lot cheaper then other places! (I order some other sides, so it’s around $12 or $14)2) it’s super delicious3) still taste the same! It’s just how I remember it.. after so many year the taste is still the same and good!I recommend this place go have a quick lunch or take away!!God I just wish they can open another restaurant in East Auckland ... I’m sick of Chinatown food in East Tāmaki area

Had the teriyaki salmon donburi to takeaway two nights in a row while staying at the neighbouring hotel. Huge serving of salmon, three times as much as I'd get in my hometown. I'm not sure how they provide such generous servings for such a good price. Tasty, fresh food and friendly service. Don't think there's be much in the way of atmosphere if you're dining in but amazing takeaways.

Have come to this place for several years and the pricing is still amazing. The food is delicious and the pricing is just incompatible to any competitor(extremely cheap food). The staff is always very polite at any time of the day, there’s relaxing music and also manga to read.

Definitely was a very tasty and filling meal.If you are going skint on your budget this is a very tasty place for a nice tasty meal and also fair priced one!Note if you want the Japanese chicken katsu curry you may need to come in lunch time as they ran out by dinner time. I had the Japanese mild curry which was tasty and good portion perhaps more vegetables were missing into the curry. Good place I would have visited again if I had the time. You can also have food to take away.
