Since changing owners it has lost its personal touch with the residents of the village and Resthome thinking maybe more of themselves in the officers than even the Staff that work for them.

They care for my old Mum, and do a good job. She is happy there.

A former worker polluted my good friends last days. I was stopped from seeing him and not even notified of his death. I had cared for and helped him for 5 years. What ever this person said about me has never been repeated and I was given a chance to respond. I got more care for my friend and waspushed away by that help. The palms hospital manager told me that she had their full support.

This is with regards to the day programme they offer.I'm not sure if it's a knowledge thing or lack of it or a funding thing but either way the care" they provide is not there. They only accept "easy" people and if your loved one needs extra support then this is not the place for them.Personally I've not met such rude uncaring providers of care before.I dropped my dad off one day and did not want to leave him. I wouldn't leave the fleas of my dogs here so why would my dad stay. What they provide is not meeting the needs of the people they are providing care to. Very disappointing environment and I am thankful to say my dad will never be made to go back."

I moved my mother here 6 mths ago when she could no longer care for herself based on promised services. Since then those services have reduced or are non existent. Appear more focused on cost cutting than supporting/servicing their residents.
