wow, this place has the best potato fries i have ever had in my life! soo good! the cheeseburger was also excellent. great selection of delicious beer, neat atmosphere, a deck to sit on and enjoy the sun and the view. young girl at the bar were friendly and welcoming. I'm definitely coming back again soon!

What a disappointing experience. Such a quirky little place with great decor, unfortunately the food and beer did not match up. The pretzel was not traditional, the beef strips were tough, the most disappointing though was the beer. The hazy pale ale was so bitter, we couldn’t even drink it. Such a shame as we were so looking forward to our visit here.

Very cool spot lots to see, awesome balcony outside. Food is amazing and fast service. Family friendly! Cute gift shop down stairs. Unique experience this is a must do in Taupo!

Pretty cool set up with a lot on offer. We went trout fishing and were told we could bring our fish to be cooked up for us, we didn’t in end, but did come for a beer. Split crowd on beer options picked but food looked very decent and customer service was lovely.

Pleasant Austrian themed pub / brewery with delicious food / beer and great decor. The Schnitzel plate was fantastic and the sauerkraut that accompanies it was spot on. The dark ale and Austrian lager were tasty as well. Pizza was well prepared but not to our taste.

Upstairs and a little hidden away, but it’s a gem of a place. I love trying beers so this was magic to find. I got a tasting paddle and I would have been there all day if I could have because I didn’t touch the sides on what beer they had on offer. We also got some food. The beer bread, the beer cake and a pizza too. Everything was delicious. The decor is quirky, lots for “eye spy” played. The lady who served us was great and super friendly. Have to come back!

Super cozy brewery with a great selection of ciders, beers, wines and cocktails. Enjoy the tasting rack on the sunny rooftop terrace, watched the sunset while enjoying a lush home-made chocolate cake after a delightful schnitzel!

Phenomenal place. Wonderful place to stop for a beer, a tasting rack and amazing schnitzel. The restaurant is quirky and cool, staff is attentive, knowledgeable and awesome, beer is well done, and food is incredible. We ate two schnitzels and all our fries and had to talk ourselves out of ordering another. The atmosphere is laid back and cool, we loved the upper deck. Definitely recommend stopping in!!!
