The Snowboard Workshop

Guys in the shop know their stuff and are really friendly. Super speedy service and the work done on my board was done to such a high standard. Will be using them for all my tunings. Massive thanks to Harry, Toby and Timmy for the advice and help!

The staffs were incredibly kind and helpful, randomly walked in to find if there are used gears for two times, they gave us informations about where to find and how to use bindings and stuff even we didn't buy anything. Didn't ask the name of the staffs but really appreciate their efforts.

Absolute first class service from Toby and also from Harry. They both went above and beyond to help us out, from super quick board tune ups and repairs to great tips and advice, they are two of the friendliest welcoming people we have met on out trip.Many thanks guys.Steve and Beck

I've used these business twice, once for a wax/ tune on my snowboard and, more recently, repairs to the underside of my board after it sustained some substantial damages from a day of backcountry boarding.Not only were Michael and the team able to turn the board around in less than 24 hours (due to flights), the repair job was perfect and they even threw a storage wax on the board knowing that I wouldn't be using it until January-2020.I'd highly recommend these guys as your workshop of choice for any snowboard repairs/ tunes during your time in Queenstown!

Awesome shop, team and work! Take your gear here. My wife and I dropped 2 very neglected boards in for a last minute tune up, the team had them ready to go in half a day. Great quality work, thanks so much legends we owe you!

The team at The Snowboard Workshop treated us greatly. We hired a board and boots for 10 days and they gave us a rate we couldn't turn down. The boots we hired were new too! They waxed one of our other boards with a great turnaround also. Really appreciate the great customer service. Nice set up in the shop and would recommend to anyone needing some gear.They also have a bit of mtb/cycling gear if you're keen on that.Thanks guys

I cannot recommend The Snowboard Workshop enough. I had been struggling with my snowboarding boots with massive heel lift and foot pain.I wasn't sure if they could be fixed or if I needed new ones. Jess, from the Snowboard Workshop was amazing. She spent a considerable amount of time , actively listening to the issues I had been experiencing. Jess attempted to fix my boots but I decided after seeing the current technology available today and also along with realising that Jess knew that the technology of my current boots was not suitable for my set of issues, that a new set of boots was preferable. Jess was not pushing for a sale of boots and was happy to try and resolve my issues with the boots but I made the decision that I needed different technology. After locating boots with the technology perfect for my feet, Jess fitted my boots and was happy for me to spend as much time as I wanted walking around the store to make sure 100% of my issues were resolved. Even then, I was then encouraged to try other boots to make a comparison to make sure I was really happy with the boots selected. Jess felt it was important for me to feel the different available technologies and placed alternative boot choices on one foot. This allowed me to real-time compare the original choice which I kept on one foot with different boots on the other. I felt truly looked after throughout the whole experience.Since my new boots, it feels as though my snowboarding level has sky rocketed. This is purely because the right boot for my feet and their special needs (many broken bones, high instep, high arches) was carefully considered. The feedback from my board and the comfort of my boots have completely and positively changed my snowboarding experience. I cannot thank Jess enough. If I ever need help with my snowboarding equipment , the Snowboarding Workshop will always be my firsr stop.

hey, grew up in qt and knew of this shop but had never brought from here(they have shops in qt and frankton). After shopping around for split boards, it was really these guys who had the proper knowledge and selection of equipment that was far superior than others. Mikey nailed it with what i was looking for, with a slash brainstorm split!!! They have everything you need, but their knowledge was out standing. Best snowboard store and best tuning / repair ski and snowboard workshop in New Zealand hands down. Their expertise, experience and knowledge have helped me immensely when choosing the right gear for my needs and repairing and servicing my boards and skis. The staff are amazing always going the extra mile to exceed customer expectations. Shout out to all the crew and a big thank you :)
