Fabulous place quaint something different excellent breakfast and hosts. Would definitely recommend it and stay again

This place is absolutely idilic. If u want a nice b&b in tauranga this is the place to stay. Its a big old 7 bedroom villa, built in 1882. Well looked after, full brekkie, clean rooms, great staff and a book with the story of the history of the house and its family. NZ history. Luvd it.

Absolutely wonderful hosts and beautiful accomodation. I stayed here for two nights with three others and we’re delighted by the hospitality shown to us. Thank you to Gary and the team for having us - we would not hesitate to book with you again!

Had a reasonable night but would not stay here again. Had to share a bathroom/toilet with other guests. Great shower with shampoo etc in there but was difficult having to share with other guests wanting to use at same time also. Breakfast is in a communal dining kitchen (all guests at the one table)and while the other guests were lovely as was the breakfast (bacon,eggs,toast,yoghurt black coffee/milk), would have been nice to have some privacy. Room was very basic...bed against wall, small,limited plug sockets (i couldn't do my hair in the mirror) no tea/coffee/drink facilites at all in room (again these were in the communal lounge) only 3 coat hangers for clothes,no tv either anywhereParking was on grass verge at the front of the property, not idealLovely house but felt like you were an unwanted guest in their home when you were using communal facilities it was very akwardStaff polite but lady we dealt with had limited english which made things difficult when we needed to ask about anything. Nobody greeted us on arrival we were just gestured to another room to try to speak to someone. Not reccommended by me sorry.

Such a cool place to stay! Genuine old style house, special. Tidy, clean home, friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

Lovely rooms, very helpful owners. All the door handles and the sink etc are very low, but we are pretty short people anyway so no issues there.

Fabulous value, excellent reception, nice warm clean room with good facilities in the dining room/Lounge. Well placed for easy walk in to town for a meal and drink. Totally surprised at breakfast when she said how do we like our eggs? Didn't expect such an awesome breakfast, it was a feast and top notch!

Beautiful homely feeling, beautiful cook, beautiful view, beautiful home, and just plain appreciated the history of the home. Felt very welcomed and cared for. Thank you so much from Australia ♥️
