O'Ryans Bar and Restaurant

We come here often. I've brought my entire family of 10, and they really enjoyed all their meals, didnt wait very long for them, service was medium, great ambiance. Great value for money.On other occasions, we have had the chef come out to talk with us and ask our opinion on the menu, that was really cool, that the chefs would get the customers views..In the past 2 years, i've been dining here at least 8 x and each time has been great. Not once have I had a negative experience. Its a shame this place is behind all the other restaurants.I think lone star which is at the front is over rated, and prices are too high! I'd go to O'Ryans over lone star anyday~

Food was disgusting ordered the lamb shanks it was cold and had a funny taste even the vegetables were burnt and cold and the mash potato was dry. ask for a new plate it seems like they reheat it in the microwave and added more gravy. i wouldn't recommend coming here period. Not even sure if the meal was cooked fresh as it seems like they reheated leftover from the day before.

We wanted a place for an evening meal with a bit of variety. We found a menu full of irish classics including a Guiness pie. All of the meals were excellent but the standout was the chicken schnitzel but plum sauce. Very moist and tasty. Service was plesant and prompt. Fairly typical pub presentation with layout and seating but overall, our group of 4 was happy with everything

Well, the restaurant is a little off the beaten track. The décor has been done in the style of a church including dimly lit. We were surprised to find that considering a Friday night how dead it was, only spotted one other couple dinning. The barmaid was nice and friendly and asked if we were dinning. We said we would and she took our order. I asked if it was possible to withhold one of the ingredients, which she said no problem. The entree was nice, but the mains were not so good. The omission I had requested was not done, and another ingredient has been swapped over completely. My wife kindly offered to swap meals, and regretted it. The kumura mash tasted like entire salt pot had been added instead of a pinch. It was just about edible. The gaming area was very busy, apart from them it was quiet as a church ! We would not rush to go back there, staff are nice and friendly.

The worst mashed potatoes ever as used a electric stick to mash it turning it into glue like texture. Beer battered fish was soggy when it should be crisp and was only luke warm. Didn't risk eating desert because of the bad mains. Will never go back even though the staff were nice.I find the below rating before my review sounds like a totally different restaurant. I don't think it is real.....

I would not recommend anyone go here. We went for lunch, it took over an hour for our meals to come out, and it wasn't busy. Only one staff to do everything including kitchen. What the?? Tables outside are falling apart, dark and unappealing inside. Beer taps weren't even going that day.Only good thing was they refunded my wifes meal who had to go back to work before it even arrived.

On arrival we asked the guy working if they were going to play the Warriors. He said yes so we ordered dinner and set up for the game. Five minutes before kick off the bar closes and everyone told to leave. Food was nice but will not be returning!

So quite place for play pool on Monday. I can recommend visit if you like places where it not so crouded and noise.

Delicious Food. Chef's name is Amit and our table of five was served by Shanice and Keshav they were fantastic, had dinner there this week March 2017. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. The portions are generous.We were there on a Tuesday and it was two for one so saved a bucket load. I highly recommend this place they have attentive staff and new management. Awesome dining experience. The Guada's crew have all moved over there with the existing staff and the place has really picked up. The chicken breast was yummy I am going to have it again. My brother had the chicken burger it was all chicken breast, fresh ingredients a really good bun and the steak was scotch fillet and the lamb cutlet was good also. Fries are crinkle cut and they also have curly if your prefer. Thank you O'Ryans we will be back. Bathrooms are really good.
