A very pleasant, clean and friendly place to stop on Highway 1. Lovely grounds and good food and drinks are available. The proprietor was regularly around and helpful. We will be back

Absolutely loved the Drift Inn, beautiful location. The team were great hosts, really welcoming, and even gave our dog some ice on a hot day. Thanks very much, we will drift in again! :)

Awesome place. Very friendly family running it, they've created a really nice atmosphere inside and out, dedicated kids play area, wonderful outdoor tables with a pond, bar and restaurant is cozy, menu is great and our meals were beautifully cooked.Can't wait to go back.Cheers Team Drake

72 in our group BOOKED ordered our meal at 1 pm today, we got our meal at 2.30 pm others got theirs at 3 pm. Another time went with group of 22 waited 1 hour 15. Won't be back.

A newly discovered gem just off SH 1 at Rangitata. Excellent parking and a comfortable ambiance. Plenty of inside and outside dining space ...and had a bouncy castle for the kids.The staff were friendly and very helpful with suggestions, and in finding gf alternatives. Great coffee.I'll definitely be back again.

We called In for some cheesecake and cuppa. The cheesecake was a good portion, and tasted yummy. The service was warm welcoming, and very efficient. A lovely place to relax. Definitely recommend.

Great place to stop for a meal on a road trip. Super friendly, child friendly (they have a playhouse!), and the food was great.

Great restaurant and bar. Nice big hearty meals. Outside seating by a pond, with a children's play area.Very friendly and welcoming service.
