I’m sorry the quality does not worth the price. It took us 15mins to get seated even though we’ve got a booking at 6pm when the restaurant just opened for dinner. The staffs were nice when talked to me but they were so confused, took the wrong drinks and food to our table couple of times, no one checking or looking at us when we wave for order and suddenly 2-3 people showed up at our table to clear the plates. I had to repeat a few times that we’re still going through a plate that got food on to stop it being taken away. Ordered oysters and got told later that there’s no more oyster. We ordered the wagyu steak and certainly paid for it on the bill but I believe this is not wagyu. I’ve had wagyu many times before and this is way too dried to be wagyu and the portions is no way 300g as stated on the menu. I’ve checked with the waiter if this was the right steak and been confirmed that’s what we ordered but pretty sure they may have served us the fillet mignon which is much cheaper on the menu. Everything else is lack of seasoning and definitely does not worth the pricey. Was going to try dessert but all these put me off and ended up leaving earlier then we thought. I really expect more from a restaurant that in a luxury famous hotel.

We had the loveliest Philippina serve us. She was relatable, friendly and down to earth. She was also very helpful with our very many annoying questions and food intolerances. If I had the opportunity to go there again, I certainly will.Food was delicious.

Good place for brekkie in the area as there's barely any hospitality on Waterloo Quadrant. It's also a great place for a drink or three as well. I used to go here sometimes after work but have not done so in a long time so I'll be going back for sure!

Tapestry Bar & Grill – how can you be a “Bar & Grill” when your grill isn’t even working! The soup, prawns and mains were good (lamb rump and pork belly). However, the potatoes were not cooked, and the wait between the entrée, mains and dessert was unnecessarily long for a restaurant that wasn’t even full. The young wait staff were good, but the mature lady with the black/grey hair needs to retire as her attitude is beyond its past due date! Don’t look down on the paying customer you have a job because of your customers! The biggest disappointment of the night was the very underwhelming $45 cheese platter. I wouldn’t call it a “platter”, it's more like a bread plate of cheese, a few bits of grapes and absolutely not a cracker in sight! There was however a pile of wannabe biscotti that was as tough as concrete, and to top it off, it was just plonked on our table without a knife to cut the cheese or a plate to eat from. We had to ask the wait staff to get us a knife and plate – real basic hospitality etiquette that was really lacking! Not recommended as it did not deliver as an albeit casual restaurant within a supposedly high end hotel.

Customer service is great. Shout out to Fletcher who welcomed us. Tapestry's all-you-can-eat breakfast is one of the best buffets in Auckland. My favorite is the juicing station with all the fresh fruits and veggies.

Service was friendly and professional. Everything was explained well on arrival. The lamb rack was divine and we will go back just for that alone!! Todays market fish was snapper and it was alright. The feedback I got was that the fish was average but the salad on the side was really nice. We were served complimentary bread and butter on arrival. That was really lovely and delicious. Overall, what an amazing meal ( for me anyway, since I had the lamb rack. Haha).

When i first visited straight after covid ; the food took for over 45mins to come and the portion size was very little; we had to eat more afterwards. However; we visited again recently with our clients due to other places being all fully booked.. i was worried due to previous experience. SURPRISINGLY, this time; the food came out just in time and the portion size was reasonable compared to before. Clients were happy and so were we.Im happy to visit again for dinner:)

Food was very slow to arrive, the waitress seemed to have no idea who had ordered what so walked around offering the food to everyone. Some sides came after the main course was finished despite us asking for them. One person didn't get his side order at all.No drink orders were taken despite us asking to make an order. We would told someone would come round but they never did, so we had to leave the table and go to the bar to get a drink.The plates were never cleared, even from people who left fairly early, which was a bad look.The food was ok, although expensive for what you got, but i expected much better service.

Fine dining pricing but unfortunately the taste and quality isn't there. The miso eggplant entree was the best thing we ate. The crispy skin duck didn't have crispy skin. The fish of the day (kingfish) was overly salty). Salmon was cooked beautifully but flavour was bland.Service was great though. The waitresses were very attentive. But I wouldn't be going back anytime soon.
