Transmission shop

Had issues with engine light warning on dash. Ford escape 2007. Advised to bring in for view & quick test drive. Gave me advise possible faults and quotes and free scan to see fault. Very friendly and insightful. Would definitely use if fault re-occurs. Drove an hour from hme- Paihia to Whangarei to see them. Worth the drive and John was great . I would recommend to family and friends

Excellent work done on my VW Golf transmission. Issue stumped my mechanic but these guys knew what they were doing and fixed it quickly; great service and fast turn around. Would totally recommend to anyone having transmission issues.

Short staffed, overcharged me 1 and half hours, terrible service and shocking work done on my car. Jamie the mechanic and the owner Mike Ward went from polite to rude in seconds when I raised these issues with them. Received my car back damaged with a big scratch, disconnect my electric window without any discussion,fixed my front bumper fascia with cable ties without any discussion about it with me and not fixed properly.Not a very pleasant experience and one that ensured I'd never ever return.These are the types of outfits that will prey and overcharge on those who they think can afford to pay. I do not recommend Auto care workshop and should avoided.

Been here twice now and have had great service both times. Staff are very friendly, helpful and communicate well. Very happy with the work that was done on my vehicle. Thank you :)

Did a great job on an xtrail cvt fluid and filter change. Drives noticeably quieter.

This place charged $1000 to replace 2 seals, called it a recondition and called it a day. We didn't figure it out for nearly a year until we took it elsewhere and they had to take the rack out again and we saw they hadn't fixed the problem. When youre basically stealing from naive female customers the least you can do is include a free wheel alignment...EDIT: why would we go back to you. It was clear as day to the mechanic and us that the invoice was fraudulent and didn't match the work done to the rack. I recommend people always get a second opinion when going to you so they can ensure the work being done is 1. Necessary and 2. Actually being done. We ended up replacing the rack with a used unit with brand new rack ends and tie rods for less than half your invoice. Shame on you!

I’m pleased with the quality of service provided. Been dealing with a transmission issue for a while and happy with the service and communications from Transmission Lab, in diagnosis and correction of the issue.

I don’t normally give out 5 stars, but this place deserves the full credit, did a transmission service, very professional and friendly. Can’t expect anything more tbh.
