Quite possibly the worst resthome I have ever encountered. My grandparents are treated as though they are in a prison, not as though this is their home that they pay for. Visitors are restricted, they aren't allowed out, staff are bossy & not caring of their wishes, they aren't treated with integrity or dignity & if it wasn't hard on them to move them, I would. If you care about your elderly relatives, DO NOT let them live here. I'm disgusted at the treatment at this poor excuse for a care facility.

My Grandparents lived here till they past and the staff were excellent. Everytime I visited the grounds were so well kept and my grandparents unit was always clean. When my grandma needed extra care for her failing health， the staff responsed with professionalism and attention to care. I believe that this retirement village has to be one of the best in New Zealand. I enjoyed meeting the other residents at meal time， everyone there were so friendly and inviting.

Comforting. Home made is always a treat. They have hot food but it's prepackaged & they heat it for you & it was yummy! The server was so kind, helpful & welcoming. Something about eating in a place where everything is humble just makes the whole experience unique & a feel good vibe.

The Victory Singers are a group that visit rest homes in the Invercargill area to sing Hymns and Gospel Songs known to the Residents. Peacehaven Village is one in the Circuit" visited. We sang to a very full lounge of happy residents who hosted us enthusiastically and in the comfortable surroundings of what was clearly "Their Home"."

Iona Ward. Staff very kind and was unable to attend for a wee while due to covid. Was a good visit and Allan got a pretty snappy hair cut.

The previous favourable reviews do not reflect the experience I had with this rest home. Sadly I lost my father in July 2018. The quality of care by some of the staff is sorely lacking. Maintenance issues were not address when requested on a number of occasions. Reassurance was always given but these issues were never resolved.
