NZ Post Shop Sunnynook

I usually get wonderful service from the older indian man. Today I had an experience not normal for this shop. I was posting a number of parcels with a lady. I had a prezzy card that I was going to use to pay.Suddenly a young Asian lady with contact lenses started to interven - and not in a helpful way. She insisted that I would need photo ID in order to use a prezzy card.This is not a stipulation of PREZZY CARD but a stipulation she said" of the store. I pointed out - once used a Prezzy card goes into the bin? it is NOT a bank card and it seemed absolutely rediculous.She then got snippy saying "Well if you can't produce identification we won't accept your payment"I didn't have ID with me (I had NEVER been asked for ID to use a gift card) so offered to find a photo of my ID on my phone ... I spent 10mins looking for a photo.Once found I produced my phone ... they then noted my drivers license details ... Name and expiry. I was then asked to sign the receipt. She then angrily (seemingly annoyed that I had kept her waiting) she then held my phone with my ID against the receipt I had signed.Then demanded to know "Is that the same signature as your ID"At this point I was in awe of the stupidity of this woman. Do you not know the signature should match what is on the card - not what is on a person's IDIf you are going to request something please KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!"

Staff always lovely & helpful. Manager is always very welcoming.

Super helpful and professional. For me, both the staff and the manager (the guy from South Asia/India) went out of their way to ensure that I got the best option for my delivery based on their great knowledge and experience. I'm truly thankful for that.
