Rentokil Auckland

We used to trust Rentokil to deal with an ongoing rat problem we suffer every winter, due to undesirable neighbours. They used to helpfully climb into the ceiling space, lay bait, give feedback on what they saw, and return to tidy up.Now they claim they are unable to do this due to 'health and safety'. The last guy they sent was useless. He poked his head into the roof space, and threw handfuls of bait into the area before we could protest. There is no way he was there long enough to make any sort of assessment, and we were cross that we now had a roof full of loose rat bait that wasn't even inside a bait station.To make things even worse, we now have, what we assume from the smell, is a dead rat in the roof. When we phoned them to come and deal with the problem they had created, they claimed they couldn't, due to health and safety.So. They will take your money, do a poor job of assessment, make a mess, and take no responsibility for it. Not good enough. We are never using them again.

Didn't follow up on the services they were meant to provide on a schedule. Also bad communication and hard to get in contact with.

The spray never worked, found spiders and flies for months after and ending up getting flybusters which actually worked. Wouldn't recommend.

Very helpful and great advice on keeping safe

Filled out contact form, contacted by their call centre who said someone would call me. Not heard from them since. Terrible customer experience and customer satisfaction. I would never recommend a company that doesn't phone you back.

All these guys did was re-lay bait in three bait stations on the perimeter of our property each fortnight. The rodent issue in our roof and floor cavity got worse each week and when we raised it with Rentokil they refused to discuss it, or alter their approach. We had far better success with an alternate provider who was friendly, thorough, identified the entry points, put bait in all the right places and cost less! Be wary of Rentokil, they do half a job for twice the price
