We stopped in for a slow roasted lamb burger, and beef short rib slow cooked on the bbq - absolutely out of this world! We'll definitely be back!

Visited on a Saturday night. Was a bit quiet at 6pm but soon locals started to drift in.Had a Salmon pizza and their special Spicy burger. Both excellent. Friendly staff, prompt service. Nice atmosphere with a fire going in the background.

Highly recommended! We had an amazing dinner at the Old School Cafe. The burgers were super delicious and the mussels were almost even better. Thank you very much for the great and friendly service. Cool location. Service a bit sloppy. Smoked lamb burger was worthwhile. Fries were nice and crispy. Recommend that dish.

Rump steak was very tasty and tender. Tomato soup was very nice too. Good value for money. Thanks for your friendly service. Worth the trip and will definitely be back!

We came for dinner after a day trip on the spit. This place had been recommended to us. We were not disappointed. Easy to find. Great parking. Once inside the roaring fire made you feel welcome. Amazing range of drinks. The food is simply amazing. The size of the mains are colossal and you need an empty stomach. A must visit. Highly recommend the Blue Cod.

Amazing to be at this cafe in Pakawau, at the end of the earth. Had good coffee and a lovely scone. Lovely and warm, a comfortable friendly environment.
