We were starving and stepped into the restaurant. Place is clean but can not accommodate a large crowd. Food is really fresh. We got a mandhi and the portion was enough for two people. The lamb was cooked perfectly. Price was less and their portion is pretty much. The owner is really friendly.Halal certified place.

Should you find yourself hungry in Porirua, Diwan is a great place to eat.I ordered the Arabic Lamb Saj Shawarma Platter. The staff were warm and friendly, the serving size was generous, and the flavours amazing. Everything was so fresh. Definately Diwan to visit in Porirua.

HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!! Thank you diwan for the beautiful food our first time trying this place out and we also ordered through delivereasy we weren’t expecting such big portions also the sauces I choose to go with my mixed meat n chips game changer!! N was really surprised on how yummy the fried chicken was my kids loved it!! all I can say is yum yum yum!! We will definitely be dining in next time!

If you are in Wellington and need a kebab/meat on chips THIS is your place to come. Top notch staff, a meat to chips ratio of this level is unheard of in this economy. The taste? sublime. The staff? Great, the bang for your buck? Couldn't be better. Don't waste your time with anyone else. Kebab Plus is the place to be.

Edited 28 May 2023Returned again, meat iskender did not disappoint, was enough for two! Ordered kibbeh (bukgur wheat puff with beef and onions in the ctr), manakish (flat bread with beef and onions on top), and they had rice pudding too (with rosewater). Lovely, healthy food and well priced.......Always fresh, they make their own falafel and they are tasty with a hint of spice, my fave is the meat platter with salad and rice and their kunafa and baklava. Have taken these home to my family as well.
