One of my favourite gluten free breakfasts in Auckland… so the perfect place to celebrate my birthday breakfast and lunch! Such friendly staff, they even gave me a chai to celebrate!

Great cafe, delicious food and beautiful ambience!!! We ordered an open steak sandwich, fish and chips and yummy Frenchie. The food was outstanding and the staff was welcoming. The portion size is huge!!! Good value for money.

I visited this place a couple of months ago for brunch. We tried big brekkie, potato rosti and omelette. They were all fabulous and the portion was big. The price is reasonable for the portion compared to the other places. There was also a friendly dog! My partner and I plan to visit here for brunch again :))

We ended up here because everywhere else was so busy. It’s shame this place isn’t better, as it’s got heaps of potential - but there’s a reason that all the surrounding cafes are so busy whilst this place is so quiet. The food was poorly conceived and very poorly cooked - think raw potato in the rosti, cold and undercooked bacon and the most expensive coffee I’ve ever had. They have a really amazing covered ‘courtyard’ space out the back which would be great if they just cleaned it better and were ready for guests (no cutlery, no squabs on the bench seats - they had to bring it all out). Our waiter was accommodating, and did replace my meal, although the replacement wasn’t much of an improvement. Weird dog policy where the owners’ dog was running around off lead but our dog wasn’t allowed inside on lead (but was allowed in the courtyard so it was fine - but weird).

Food is really great, especially the French toast. The manager(?) was very friendly and lovely to deal with. Unfortunately let down by a rude waiter and a wait for food for over an hour - not that busy and we were not advised of the wait when we ordered. At least it was worth the wait. Wish I could give more stars! The other local spots were a lot busier maybe for good reason.

Absolutely delicious and meticulously prepared. All the ingredients felt premium and fresh. Beetroot was sweet and juicy, the ham was so flavorsome, the coffee milk was so smooth and creamy. Everything was just perfect

This is such a fantastic restaurant!! We were walkable distance from our Airbnb from here. We came so often for breakfast for 2 weeks that the owner recognized us haha. Their Frenchie is THE BOMB!! We had had the open steak sandwich that was also very very good!! All the food is hearty and big portions for the price, I think that is well worth it. They also had an adorable pup that would greet and follow people around.

Delicious breakfast at this spot. Super cute friendly pup who does a great job welcoming guests. Amazing portion sizes and truly delicious grub.
