Not bad not bad.... Very nice if you like tailoring or good curtains. There are also many deals at the moment. Definitely worth to get some bargains. Recommend

We went with our Grand late 20's granddaughter to get a dress pattern and material to make up same.Good selection of pattern books, excellent choice of materials..However, some staff were very helpful, but not all!A fair selection of patterns, but mainly size 14-18 and some of the newer larger sized ones not so many 10-14s. Maybe young women of those smaller sizes don't make their own clothes.Really irritating was the fact that several of the made-up patterns on manikins were sold out! When I pointed this out, the assistant said yes that often happens". End of exchange!Just walking through it's obvious that there isn't much on the homemaker's list that you can't get there

We bought ready-made curtains online and got lightning fast delivery. Much impressed

Great place for crafts.. curtains.. fabrics etc.But make sure you have a VIP members card otherwise very expensive.... Item I got was $100 or $40 with VIP card...

Massive spotlight store here in Christchurch, like the crafters Bunnings hours can be spent here. The entrance is abit chaotic and confusing from the main road but there is a large busy parking lot that has never quite been full. Plenty of stock to choose from. Some staff are incredibly helpful and positive, others helpful but certainly missing the positive component. Recommend for product but not always for service

My wife loves going to this place, and I love spending time with my wife.We went looking for curtain rods as they had advertised them on special.Like most of these things the devil is always in the detail. The lengths that we required were not on special.We left with three curtain rods, we lost that game 3-0.

What a wonderful assortment of products for sewing, crafts and home decor! I found what I needed and more! The staff were very helpful and polite with my questions also. I will be back again and recommend shopping here!

Not a good experience yesterday. 9/7/23 while I was in ChCh on a day trip.Wife was looking at duvets for our young kids rooms. Asked one of your workers about a duvet price. Her blunt unhelpful reply was I dont know as I have been off work on holiday for 2 weeks and then she looked at her watch before stating.....and I have only been on this shift 10mins" and continued shuffling cushions in a bin. Young blonde girl who has no customer service skills which I thought part of her job would be or at least have a willingness to be helpful.My wife then went to the checkout to ask same question where she was greeted by another unhelpful unhappy looking staff member. We put what we were going to purchase back and went to Briscoes where we got everything we needed. Spotlight please look into staff training if you want customers."

The staff seem to be OK. One lady criticising what I brought. She was quite rude to me and making me think I shouldn't have brought them. Overall, the layout in store is too much for me. It's so not easy to find something quickly as every rows in the store are so close together and too busy. Everything is jam packed together. However, they do have very good things in there.
