Rachel did mine and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding on Saturday. She is so incredibly talented and made me feel, beautiful, comfortable and confident. She is also absolutely hilarious and a genuinely wonderful person, I can't recommend her highly enough!

Highly recommend! I was recommended Rachel’s services from a friend who had used her previously and I was not disappointed! Rachel did our hair and makeup for my wedding and she is super talented! Made us ladies feel so amazing and the makeup was flawless - we got so many compliments!I usually do not wear much makeup but explained the sort of look I was after and she totally nailed it. We felt super comfortable with her and we had great banter over the couple hours it took to get ready. She also went above and beyond at the end to help with all the smaller details like pinning my mothers dress into place and helping me into my gown!I honestly cannot recommend Rachel enough! Rachel and her team recently did both hair and make up for my wedding.I first had my trial in Rachel's at home salon which is lovely. Rachel took the time to try the different things I asked as we made slight alterations together to get the look I was after.I left the trial feeling confident in Rachel's work and also her friendliness left my bridesmaids feeling relaxed about their own hair and make up on the day.On my wedding day Rachel and her team were bang on time and got set up and ready to go in no time. My bridesmaids were up first and they looked fab in no time!Both our mothers as well as my husbands sister all had make up and some hair too, everyone loved there looks and they were all so different. Each was personal to them and the artists did a great job of working with everyone to get something they loved but still felt like them.Then was my turn. My hair is super long, past my waist in fact! Rachel did such an amazing job, I had so many comments on my hair (probably equal to my dress) and nearly all out wedding guests specifically asked to photograph my hair. I opted for a loose braid with flowers throughout and i couldn't have asked for more.Rachel also got the perfect balance for my make up, ensuring I had enough to look fab in photographs and all lighting whilst keeping in mind I don't really wear too much day to day.All in all I couldn't have asked for more. If the occasion arises I will be going back to Rachel in a heartbeat! Xx

Wow Rachel was my soldier during my wedding. She did makeup and hair for me and my bridesmaids. Im so fussy with how my makeup is done and Rachel listened to everything that I wanted and perfected it to a T. If there was a little thing I wanted to change she was so good about it and happy to work with me. I actually felt like a princess and was so blown away by my makeup. Eye lash extensions were perfect! didn't take long to do and didn't have the saw eyes afterwards (had saw eyes with a previous salon from too much glue!). Rachel also helped me out with my wedding with arranging flowers and helping with the set up etc. She consulted me the whole way through on the day but dealt with everything that I didn't need too and was so nice to have someone look after things while I enjoyed my special day! Highly recommend her

Rachel recently did the hair and make up for my friends wedding party, which I was luck enough to be a part of. From the beginning, Rachel was approachable, and someone we knew that would fit right into the Brides big day. The bride had a trial at Rachel's home salon first, and the bridesmaids and MOB were able to tag along.Rachel is clearly experienced, and took the time to explain different things and recommend alterations to ideas we all had.On the wedding day, Rachel was timely and made us all feel so relaxed and comfortable. In the end, we all looked drop dead gorgeous (or at least more so than usual :) ). Rachel stayed right up until we all walked down the aisle for any last minute touch ups that may have been required. Even though I cried most way through the ceremony, my make up stayed put, making me a beautiful crying mess!!Once the bridesmaid, one day the bride - I will be using Mackwood Beauty again without a second thought.
