Karl, from the Sustainability Trust, came and provided us with excellent advice on how to improve our home. We've implemented most of his tips and are working on other ideas he suggested with the aim of having a warmer, drier, and more sustainable home.

A member of the Sustainability Trust team came to check out my house and was able to give me a great set of energy saving suggestions. After the assessment, he followed up with an itemised to-do list, prioritised by cost and effectiveness. Very friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend booking in for an assessment.

A wonderful organization doing important work. They have a range of useful and interesting things in their eco-shop as well. If you are interested in living sustainably in Wellington, I recommend you check it out.

Highly recommend their Homes Energy Assessments. Free and incredibly thorough. Had our home assessed and they looked at everything - from quick fixes (turning down a thermostat) to future thinking (solar panels and ducted heat pumps). Jackson gave us practical solutions that were sensitive to our family's needs. Thanks for the 'to do' list!

I had a free Home Energy Assessment by Sustainability Trust. Jackson and Chris, the assessors, shared a huge wealth of great information, they are incredibly knowledgeable. I really appreciated being talked through issues and solutions so I understood how and why to make improvements, and then getting follow-up written info and a personalised action plan. I'm stoked to have a range of affordable ways I can make my house warmer, dryer and more energy-efficient.This is such a brilliant service, and amazing that it is available for free. I would love to see Wellington City Council continue and expand funding for this service so it can benefit more tenants and owner-occupiers - and especially increase capacity during the winter months!

Rob from Sustainability trust was super helpful and gave me lots of tips that were within my current (very small) budget, as well as listing things that I could look at doing in the future that would take more of a financial investment. Rob listened well, paid attention to detail and gave me helpful responses to my particular concerns, as well as offering non-judgemental information based on facts that I didn't have much understanding of. The advice was specific, detailed and completely relevant to my house and its particular quirks. I now feel like I have a plan to winter-proof my old (new to me) and very draughty house, and I feel a lot less anxious about the onset of winter. Highly recommend.

The Sustainability Trust came to our house to do a free (!) energy assessment of our home (partly thanks to Wellington City Council). They were very professional, provided top priorities for things that would make our home more energy efficient, and provided excellent follow-up. A truly incredible public service, can't recommend them highly enough!

Karl at Sustainability Trust was great in helping me better understand what I need to do to get the best out of my house both from a sustainability and efficiency perspective. He was also great with useful tips and tricks to mitigate things like dampness and to get the best out of your heating system. Would recommend.
