We headed to firebird for a couple of beers but they were unable to sell us alcohol due to licensing issues. But the staff were friendly and offered us some tasty alcohol free options which we enjoyed.It was pretty quiet, but we enjoyed our drinks and played a few of their board games.

What a fun, relaxed, interesting place. Loved the warm welcome, the hot coffee, and my fabulous salad ($12, delicious). My two young daughters had a blast with the toys, and we all loved the comfy sofas.We’ll be sure to stop here again the next time we’re in Levin.

We came here for the first time. It was a very lovely experience in terms of customer service. Food was very fresh, delicious and good quality. Atmosphere and ambience inside cafe was very different and unique.

Firebirds is a real standout in Levin! Been around for about 3 years. What a time to start!At last somewhere with atmosphere, great music, and excellent pizza.But get this, the Council haven't yet approved an alcohol licence? To take 3 years, after all the covid dramas, you'd think business would get a leg up, esp one that stands out. All I can say is, get off your a$$ council and issue a licence. Please.

The lady who served us was lovely ordered a chai tea but she failed to mention it was made in store it was more like turmeric tea which I didn't enjoy at all. I also ordered crispy potato skins which turned out to be potatoes with the inside kinda scooped out and not crispy the salad was great though

Stopped off for a quick dinner when we were driving through and am so glad we did! The food was fresh, flavourful and delicious and the staff and atmosphere were perfect. lovely bohemian place with a really cool little vintage shop, will definitely be reccomending to my friends! Snickers milkshake was yum!
