NZ Post Shop Ponsonby

These guys basically just ripped me off $20 which is quite funny considering they are a fairly essential organisation in NZ and you would expect would not be fussed about refunding such small amounts of money when it is required.I paid for their UK passport package which includes passport photos. They have some software that auto crops the image. It cropped it so that my face took up to much of the image (it is required to be between 29mm and 34mm high for UK passports). They refused to redo the photo (because they couldn't guarantee the software wouldn't make the same mistake again) and refused to refund me. This in my opinion is well and truly criminal. But given that my complaint was never followed up on my only option is to waste my time at small claims or write this review. I ended up going to Kodak who took an excellent photo (they have actual human beings that work there) which was accepted by the UK passport office. So a happy result but no thanks at all to NZ Post Ponsonby, who still have not refunded me 20 dollars or given me an explanation (which I told them I would prefer over a refund).

Wow. The customer service is absolutely terrible. The 2 front desk workers were super rude and had a horrible attitude. Definitely won’t be returning!!!

Post Shop should give UP TO DATE info on opening hours during Covid lockdown. Currently this branch website shows it's open every day on workdays. It is not. I've just been there (Weds 9:45am Weds). A wasted trip. It would be appreciated if Post Shop gave a list of which branches are open during lockdown and when, just as the banks do.

Service is slack in here every time I go. Woman behind kiwibank desk asked if I needed help only to then serve another customer. Her response was that she was only asking “if I needed help”. Maybe I looked unable to stand in a queue on my own, I’m not sure. The confusion continued when our conversation was spoken in English and I just got a blank face response. Probably easier to just boot the parcels down the road next time.

Worst guys, ripped of $20, put the wrong information in the courier invoice. They hardly listen. It is really dodgy when they put the dimensions without measuring it. I did not read the invoice properly. So lesson learnt, - do not believe their service blindly, always try to rip off. If possible , ignore this office

We lost our passports due to their attempted delivery" but it never happened and we stayed at home all day waiting for the parcel to be delivered. I rarely write a bad review but please NZ Post

Doing pretty well considering the digital competition they now face. Fewer branches of course but the same helpful staff are still smiling!

Went here twice to give them benefit of the doubt but I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you like being treated like an inconvenience. Poor customer service.

It was NOT busy at all - nobody in the queue or waiting.I asked a short young female staff for a quotation for a parcel to be sent to lower North Island. You can find this on our website" I walked 20 minutes from work to get this answer. She should be fired!"
