Andrea ran a Kombucha workshop at my place just recently. We had tried to make Kombucha a few times in the past but just weren't quite successful. Andrea explained the process so well during the workshop which instigated several light bulb moments for us as to why it hadn't work out so far. And sure enough, a few weeks later we drunk our first, enjoyable own brewed Kombucha. A wealth of knowledge, thanks Andrea.

I went along to a weaving class with Andrea where we made a basket. It was so amazing! She taught us how to harvest our harakeke, prep our harakeke and then weave it into a basket. The group was small so she was able to do 1 on 1 with each of us if we were struggling. She also started and ended the session with karakia and taught us a karakia/song that we could use when harvesting. She answered any questions we had about harakeke and was a great teacher. It was a great class. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to weave :)

I have shopped here for years especially when my girls were younger, it is just full of treasures. I was stuck getting in to buy thread and today the staff worked wonders for me - such amazing service, thank you :)

What a wonderful experience I had in this cute and enchanting shop. Its like a candy shop for grown ups, the colors, the atmosphere, the different textures along with two inviting gorgeous armchairs . like an old world shop, this one stands out with its charm and endless selection of great quality knitting products. A true jewel in a world that slowly disappearing and replaced by big characterless malls. I hope this pearl will be there for many more years to come.
