Reservations were made easily online with fast email correspondence. The vehicle was tidy and economical and the hire was very affordable. Bargain Rental Cars staff are pleasant and efficient and easy to deal with. Having multiple pick up locations was great!! We will definitely use them again!

Rented a car. Asked not to pay for insurance, then they charged me for the highest rate of insurance anyway. Then when I called back the man tried to twist words saying we agreed when we clearly stated no. Then he proceeded to tell us he would call us back about refunding it - never got a call back. Car was generally untidy with stains on seats and floor and brakes worn. Very unhappy with customer service and the complete arguing when we know what we asked for. Would never use this company again. Beware!

Absolutely fantastic service! Had a last minute request of hiring a vehicle and the lady at the Mount Wellington location was a superstar! She managed to organise me a car right on the spot (at the last second) and provided me with a clean, tidy and safe vehicle. She was lovely, you have a great team member on your hands! Super easy to deal with, and so hassle-free. Highly recommend and will come back in future :)

Great price, great car and exceptional customer service. Pickup and drop off was efficient and easy. I rented the car during COVID19 and felt very reassured that Bargain Rental Cars had gone over and above govt requirements to ensure health and safety for all concerned. I fully recommend them as a car hire company for short or long term rentals.

Bargain Rentals provided me with a city car which exactly met my needs to whizz around to do my work commute, shopping & social. Staff were really helpful too. Really highly recommend these as a place to hire a car at very reasonable rates. Especially during peak Christmas season.
