Had a good set up for our group of 30. Generously portioned and tasty meals with great service. Would highly recommend for a large group.

A great Mother's Day Brunch with family!It's a great place to have a relaxed family gathering. It was great being able to watch our grandson play as we were able to be seated close to the playground! Visited mid-week for lunch on a nice sunny day. Food was very good pub-style food. Lamb Shank and Chicken Wrap were great. Inside and outside seating. Great friendly service. Guiness on tap. Popular bar in the middle of Methven. Free parking close by.

We had late lunch at The Brassiere. Outdoor seats in the garden. Waitress lady is very helpful and friendly. Their fish and chips are yummy. We had good experience. Please note that they do charge the credit card surcharge. Also be careful with your food as there are few birds in the garden and they can grab your food if you leave the food unattended.

Did not want to do this but I have no choice because im sick of all the back and forth lies from them. Booked my sisters wedding with talimanao but 2 months before the wedding we had to cancel as our family members had offered to cater. the full price of the catering was $16,000 and we had paid her $13,500, upon cancelling she had informed us that we would receive - refund of $11,500 on the 18 of November which was literally 8 days before the wedding come the 18 of November we contact her and she tells us that she does not have the money for us. 3 days later we contact her again and she tells us she has only got $3000 for us. Day before the wedding come and we contact her about the money and she tells us to wait a few more days then she will get the money to us. Long story short it has now been 1 month and almost 2 weeks since the wedding has finished and still we have not got our full refund back and she keeps giving us specific days and time she will come and give the money but she never turns up unless we go to her then she postpones when she will give the money. So sick of going back and forth with her we just want our refund because she still gets to keep $2000 of our money as her deposit. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND BOOKING IN WITH THEM.

Wow. Sublime cocktail (mandarin /gin), tasty food - melt in your mouth lamb - and wonderful service. We have throughly enjoyed our evening and we’ll be coming back.

Wicked little place, blink and you'll miss it, tucked in between a few shops near cornucopia, it doesnt have a big flashy front, but it's all about the relaxed atmosphere inside.Live music and comedy, plenty of strange craft beers and wines, with the garden bar out back and couches for the most relaxed one of your group.This place has got the right feel to chill out and catch up with your friends.Even on a Wednesday night it was full and the live dj was doing his thing.All walks of life welcome, great spot for tourists and backpackers.

Great jazz on Wednesdays. Excellent ambience. Good live music venue for hire, so you see a wide variety of acts playing here.

I love this place. It's always the right amount of busy and the food is divine!
