Grindz Cafe
I had the best pancakes, banana, bacon, maple syrup and whipped cream! The pot of tea was perfect and enough for a refill, plus kept hot in the great heavy teapots. Great staff, all added up to a lovely dining experience. Thanks so much Grindz Cafe.

Such great people and food. Met the owner and she was SO nice to my two young kids! On holiday and one of my kids highlights so far. Will be going back often!!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal & received wonderful friendly service. Infact she came back to us with a complimentary brownie for us to try, which was a lovely surprise. Love the atmosphere and friendly staff, would definitely come back again & recommend it to my friends.

Fantastic lunch at Grindz today. Friendly staff helped my wife carry our daughter to the table when they saw she had a strapped shoulder. No fuss making minor changes to our order and complementary fries because they had run out of sausages (and supplied a vege sausage instead which was just as good). Not often this family of 6 gets change out of $100 dining out. Will return.

Absolutely loved the service. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. They allowed us (2) to put our order in before a large group so we didn’t have to wait too long which was so thoughtful. Food was great and reasonably priced. We will definitely go again.

5 Stars just on service alone! Very friendly, happy, accommodating and prompt staff. The cafe was lovely, clean and comfortable. Its great not to feel like your squished in like sardines and eavesdropping on your neighbors conversations for a change. The food was great. We ordered the big breakfasts with a couple of cold beverages and then ordered some hot chocolates to finish off our morning. All tasted delicious. Highly recommend persisting with all the horrible road works to get there. We almost turned back and left Tauranga all together, but I'm so glad my husband and I weathered the inconvenience to enjoy a lovely breakfast together. My only regret is that I forgot to take a photo of our lovely breakfast.
