Skydive Mt.Cook

Had the pleasure of doing a 15,000 foot jump with these guys in December 2022. Friendly, professional staff and an excellent experience. I was a bit nervous, but the tandem jumper (Callum) put me at ease and helped to document the jump for me with the hand-cam extra I bought. In 25 years visiting the region, I have to say that the views of the mountains were incredible and the best I’ve ever seen them.

Most amazing experience of my life, the team was absolutely awesome from the moment we walked in, explaining every step and making us feel relaxed and in safe hands. Would thoroughly recommend doing it yourself!

It must be said that our first contact with Skydive was not entirely happy, but after that we were contacted by the staff and their professionalism showed. The entire team at Skydive MT Cook went out of their way and were very friendly and welcoming. We were here with our friends and it was an absolutely unbeatable experience! Pleasant communication with your tandem partner, who will calm you down in case of nervousness, and the overall impression was wonderful! In addition to all this, there are pleasant facilities, clean toilets and the possibility of making coffee or tea. We were very satisfied and thank you to the entire Skydive team.

The atmosphere is awesome. The guys you jump with are just great and I can only recommend it to everyone. Super safe, super fun, just fantastic.

I did my 15000ft jump with Ben, and Nick was up there with us filming. I can honestly say from start to finish I was treated with so much respect and felt very safe whilst doing something so extreme. It was like jumping with long lost friends! Everything was explained clearly, with a very calming and enthusiastic affect. The whole team, from signing in at the beginning, to landing at the end, were super friendly and helpful. I knew exactly what to expect when to expect it. Both the clarity and enthusiasm sincerely enhanced my skydiving experience. Thank you!

It was my first time skydiving - and I absolutely loved it! I would do it again for sure. The team at Skydive Mt Cook made me feel very safe and allowed me to enjoy and take amazing photos & video (even telling me how to pose lol)! Thank you!

Did the 15,000 feet Skydive here and it was an amazing experience. Both myself and my son did the Skydive. The team is amazing and the whole process was smooth. This was our first Skydive experience and the tandem master took time to ease our nerves, explaining the whole process and we were able to enjoy this incredible experience. Make sure you capture the whole experience (need to buy extra package). The scenery is great. When we jumped, it was not a clear sky but we were still able to enjoy the great views of mountains and the lake and the whole region. If you are thinking of Skydiving in New Zealand, go with these guys.

Did my first ever skydive here (13,000ft) on 25th May 2023 with Callum (hope I got his name right, I was so nervous I couldn’t remember much). He really calmed me down and was very nice to tandem with!The counter staff was very nice, I called in at 8am when they opened and they offered me a last slot for 11am. The videos and photos turned out really nice too!The day I went, the only media option available was handycam for $199 NZD so I couldn’t get a second cameraman to film the entire jump.Only bummer was that they got my family to drive down to the spectator area which was a distance from the landing zone, but they ferried other jumper’s family members to right beside the landing zone so my family couldn’t get clear videos of my landing, which is also not included in the handycam videos :(But other than that it was a great dive!

Awesome friendly staff! Made me feel super comfortable and it was my first time jumping! Definitely will book with them again when i plan to go jumping next! Such an amazing time/view. Super helpful staff also Thanks to Callum helped me get geared up and made me feel more at ease and Jamie who was my tandem buddy and Made everything feel super comfortable and made me feel at ease with jumping. 10/10

What a wonderful and thrilling experience! The team here is so professional and kind. They make you feel safe and ready for your skydive. The flight up is stunning and the descent is something you'll remember for the rest of your life. Seeing lake Pukaki's bright blue waters from above with Aoraki Mt Cook in the distance is indescribable.One thing I will mention is that I had some trouble getting my legs up for landing (guess I'm in worse shape than I thought!). This is really dangerous for landing so if you're keen, try it at home while sitting on a couch or chair. Practice makes perfect and it'll help you when you land.
