Fast food and friendly hard working staff. Some vegetarian options- vegetarian spring roll is good, big and tasty. Also a nice vege fritter and burger. Chips are quite crispy (I prefer a softer chip)....kumara chips nice. Been coming for years....gets busy on weekends.

Best Chicken Fried rice in New Zealand! I come here every time I’m down in Hawera. I love this place for a good feed to eat now or later. I order no onion that’s what there ain’t any in the pic.

I dont normally post reviews, but in my opinion, this is the worst fish and chips in the lower and upper hutt region. Chips, potato fritters, hotdogs were burnt dry. Fish burger was a dry tasteless overcooked piece of fish between two dry buns with the smallest smear of coleslaw. Very disappointed

Paid top dollar for crumbed fresh cod, got battered flattened fish, not that impressive. Chinese dishes were good sized servings but not overly tasty.

When i called in an order, she said 15mins. I got there 20min later and they went cooking it. 2min later they started cooking it. Another 10min later i got it. Then i asked... if its gunna take 30min. Plz tell me that. Then she screamed at the poor HHS studend serving to give me my money back and for me to take the food. She yelled athim and me again.... i took the money and threw her bloody food back at her. Never again....
