Half-price vegan meals on Monday. Pretty good marketing scheme, as we went once on a Monday and now crave it almost every day. Amazing vegan food.

Friend said this is the most famous African food in Wellington. Sorry it is not my cup of tea. 4 stars because staff is friendly, come to the table several times to asked us how we feel.

Good priced food and very different cuisine. Really enjoyed the food. One of the students they had working there was so slow... took her about 30 minutes to sort our drinks order out and the place was empty. Then another 20 after that to take our food order. If the food wasn't good I would have given them a lower score.

Food was great however it was very slow. No menu's were bought to us, we ended up going to get them and were only given 1 to share for a table of 5. Entree's took half an hour to arrive, and another 40 minutes after that to receive our mains. 2 of the dishes received bread instead of rice. But the food was absolutely delicious so they redeemed themselves there. I would go back but be prepared to wait!

Wellington is a tough market and Ethiopian isn't all that common. Adulis may have a long wait from time to time, but it's yummy food and I think they're worth it. Injera is worth a try!

I think they have a new name, but regardless of what they are called they are delicious! I have always been a fan of Ethiopian food and found their food to be much fresher tasting than others. You can tell it was just freshly prepared while we were waiting in the very nice restaurant. Good ambiance. Fantastic service and amazing food!

We had the Vegan Platter for two, and it was both tasty and filling. The injera was of very high quality, and the four dishes served with it were varied in flavour, colour and texture, from the mild vegetables and sweet tomato lentils through to the spicer options with small pieces of green chilli mixed through. As an additional bonus, there is a half priced special on Monday at present, making it fantastically good value. They also do takeaway (which we've also availed ourselves of).

.(03/2018)This is one of the best African restaurants in the city. Conveniently located over Tory Street and can be easily spotted on the roadside from a moving vehicle in normal traffic. Easily approachable.Well managed and nicely maintained.Good ambiance and comfortable atmosphere. Lightening is kept low during the evening but bright enough to enjoy the food.Spacious seating around the restaurant.Pleasant and super helpful staff. Well timed and friendly service.Great variety of food and drinks with lot of options for vegans and vegetarians. There are many Ethiopian food items in the menu.Delicious food and beautiful presentation. Enjoyed Kita Firfir and Vegan platter consisting four different mains in limited quantity. You can give a try to Moroccan Tea with milk and will not be disappointed. Table service. This restaurant offers takeaways.Card as well as cash payments are accepted. Paywave facility is not available at this location.Good for groups, celebrations, family and kids.Normally busy during evening. Good place for quick bite.Outdoor seating is available and we noticed couple of groups enjoying an improved version of hukka outside. Could not notice wheelchair accessible seating or high chair in plain view at this location. There is no dedicated parking area available although street parking can be found around the entrance. Wheelchair parking is not available. Entrance is not wheelchair accessible.Enjoyed the experience.

If you don't know Ethiopian and Eritrean food yet, this is the place to broaden your culinary knowledge. Despite slightly shabby interior design, Rastafarian art covered walls and Ethiopian-kiwis chugging shisha outside ensure there are no d doubts about the food's authenticity.Recommendations flow without prompt from the staff: go for the giant njera with a couple of meat options or meats options or both. The Molohika lamb curry is succulent, then herbivore's friend is the golom - green leaves of delicious. An okay little list of wines and a reassuring offering of craft beers to accompany whatever options you out for.Go here and enjoy learning a cuisine you should be eating more of!
