Hot Water Beach - Main Beach Parking
Lots of space in the carpark and toilets too, make sure to get to low tide in the morning when its quieter, its only a 5 minute walk to the beach from the carpark! and you might be lucky to catch a beautiful sunrise over the river on the walk to the beach!

Ototoka Beach
By far the best beach in Whanganui region. It was a bit off track but once you get there the views are amazing with the small falls and the beach itself. The sunset was spectacular as well. Will definitely come back.

Ocean Beach
A great place to relax, fish, and even have a bonfire/campfire. What troubled me though was finding a toilet haha. But all in all, a great place to chill, unwind, and admire the view.

Brighton Beach
It was a sunny day then. Had a great time with my friends here. The sand is fine. Not a lot of people which is pretty good. Calm and quiet. Only the sounds of waves, the wind and birds. A good place to have picnic with family or friends.

Woolleys Bay
If you are looking for a large sandy beach with open ocean and a bit of space to spread out then this would be a good spot to check out. Plenty of car parking and only a short (but winding) drive from Tutukaka. Take care on those bends!
