Always a great experience at Bakermans. Selection of food is impressive, tastes great, and everything is very neatly displayed. The staff are kind and accomodating. The manager is a good man, always keen for a quick chat and a laugh. Feels very welcoming.

I've been there several times to buy fruit tart or pie and coffee to takeaway mostly first time to have a sit and chat with friend.(2:50pm) Staffs are not really friendly and about the closing time(3:40pm) making noisy to put the chairs on the table loudly. Mabye I don't want to go there anymore.

Love coming here when I’m on break, everything is so good. And the staff here are so lovely. Just not a fan of the manager, he’s really snooty and puts me off going sometimes but other than that I love this place

Very aesthetic looking bakery. Everything looked so cute and well put together. The cheesecake I got was very delicious.

Everything is absolutely amazing at bakermans but they got my order wrong. Asked for no jam on the cake but jam was added. Very good service except for this guy who comes off a little bit cold. Recommend the raspberry stursal.

Beautiful selection of food, but just very disappointing for gluten free options (2 only). Wouldn't recommend if you have dietary restrictions. Otherwise lovely.

First of all absolutely delicious! I am a pie lover and can well and truly say the Steak and Cheese pie I had was in my top 3! Melt in your mouth pastry and tender steak with a perfect amount of cheese. Delicious, will be back.Last of all great friendly service, perfect Saturday lunch.

Bakermens is one of the best bakeries / cafes in Christchurch, no question about it. Friendly and very efficient staff and patient as it is often busy. I would recommend the chicken croquettes, they often sell out.Coffee also very good.
