Popped into Piries the other day. Phil sold me a aged porterhouse on the bone, which he smoked for me in his whiskey smoker (very theatrical) . The steak was to die for, and the sausages I purchased went down a treat. My local butcher when i visit Auckland. If you live in the city area, make this your butcher. You can thank me later.x

Sadly we live too far away to frequent Pirie's as often as I would like but it's always on the list when we are in the area.Awesome range of quality meats and tasty little packages of goodness, combined with first rate and knowledgeable service.

The best butcher in whole of Auckland! Their meat is fresh and melt in your mouth quality. It's a long way out from where I live but I make the trip as it's well worth it. Keep up the fab work guys! This is how I cook my steaks. With a lovely creamy mushroom sauce. So devine.

Hello everyone! I have been back in France since 7 months now and I can tell that I am truly missing the Pirie’s team and their top quality products! From their already pre seasoned meal or their great range of quality meet, it is impossible to not find what you seek!Special mention for their black pudding, I wish I could teleport every week to NZ to make an order !
