Cool staff up for a good chat. They work hard to bring all the mags and new stock up the escalator. Great place to buy stationary or a new book. The news paper is available with heaps of seating and food choices close by to sit and read.

A nice new store, friendly helpful staff. However I did find that prices at the Birkenhead store were more expensive than the Glenfield store, quite a big difference actually. Apparently these stores are individually owned so prices vary depending on the discretion of the owners. I purchased 5 books at Glenfield and 1 at Birkenhead after the Glenfield staff sourced it for me at Birkenhead, some of the differences were $7 a book.

The staff on the paper plus side of the store are always nice, but I find when I speak to the nz post staff, they have always been rude
