Old-time relaxed atmosphere with ancient converted warehouse & leather couches. I was amazed and glad that there weren't more people there. Very friendly staff & patrons. Excellent beer. Thinking about it makes me want to spend more time in Oamaru!

Great location, and the historical building features inside add to the ambience. If you are into craft beer, check it out. Bar food also available. Wine pours seem to vary widely in quantity received, so if in doubt, question it.

Fantastic spot in Oamaru that we found and will definitely visit again. Amazing selection of Belgium beers. We ordered a flight and we’re given a detailed book to learn more about each one. Highly recommend the Reuben sandwich to pair with the beers. Friendly people that share the stories of the handcrafted beer making this such an authentic and enjoyable experience. The furniture, wooden walls, maps and decor create an memorable ambience. Highly recommended. Looking forward to returning.

Superb brewery and magnificent setting. Wonderful quirky, hospitable and fun hosts. Went back twice in two days. BTW the beers are outstanding, do not miss this under any circumstances a truly must experience.

Beautiful fit out and a great selection of beers and ciders provided by very knowledgeable owners (complimentary bowl of pretzels that will make you thirsty!)Fruit slice was good too!

We accidentally discovered this place while walking around town, very glad we did.We got a reasonably priced tasting tray, made up of four lovely beers. Our favourites were the Red Bonnet and Bruxelles Ma Belle varieties.Food was good too, really enjoyed the corned beef toasted sandwich. The Iranian bean soup was tasty however I'd have liked a little more focaccia to pad it out.Looking forward to visiting again the next time we have an excuse to be in Omaru.

We had a great time here, great cheese wonderful beer, fun and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend! We were just strolling through when we saw the sign and walked in. Spent 2 hours tasting as many of the brews as possible, an awesome time!

The beer is excellent, and quite different to what you find in most breweries! The owners and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the pub itself is beautiful. The food is also excellent, and different to the usual, but they offers snacks more than meals. If what you are looking for is a place to have a chat with friends over a truly excellent beer, than this is the best pub in Oamaru!
