This is a very nice hall with some pretty good seats. I was sitting at the very back on the stalls section (~EE40) and still had a decent view of the orchestra. Facilities was very good with a variety of food and drinks during intermission and restrooms nearby.

A great venue not just for graduation, writer's festival but also for the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. We loved Mahler 3 with Gemma New, conductor.

One of my favourite venues in Wellington - its unique decor provides an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re inside a custom wooden speaker. My latest visit was for Joe Lycett - quite an unusual venue for a comedy show, but I found the acoustics amplified and focused the crowd response, providing a welcoming environment for an international entertainer.

So, the Michael Fowler Centre. Went there for a conference, and it's a nice building, decent size, well located near hotels and Te Papa. It's nice. Until you sit down. The rows are narrow (my gf has multiple bruises on her legs and hips) and the chairs are about as comfortable as being stabbed. Everyone in the audience was writhing about in their chairs, trying to get into a position that hurt less than the current one. For anyone taller than 5 foot and weighs more than 45kg, you're not going to enjoy sitting in this theatre.

An awesome place. Plenty of seats. The lighting on stage is very well organised and amazing. Good place for functions. Has a lift so wheel chair access is available

West Side Story with live orchestra was awesome. Venue was great. Drink/snack bar wasn't good. Need more choices and to actually have the stuff available that you're advertising!!

Acoustically wonderful arena, home to the NZSO but our latest visit was to see singer Jackson Browne who clearly thought it was a great venue for his music. Only complaint is the lack of legroom, I'm not tall but found my legs cramped.
