Scenic Hotel Cotswold

To all Tour Operator, I am a Tour Guide. You have to think twice and consider your client if you want to put them in this hotel. The receptionist won't listened to thier guest. I checked in to this hotel late evening after a long day trip. Right away told the reception pls do not put me away at the back and dark area (as a female) staying by my self" What happened ??!! She (the receptionist) is right away put me at the back room and dark area. In the mean time she put my co worker (male) at the front room (bright area) closed to the reception. What the hell happened ? She was easily said to me " you can swap with your friend if you want". No consideration at all. I will never stay to this hotel anymore and not recommended ever to my clients."

Brilliant friendly staff. Loads of room and extremely comfortable beds. Room was warm when we arrived . Great central location. Thank you.

This hotel is excellent. The buildings are charming and the room was very large and clean. The shower was amazing with great water pressure. The room was super clean and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great hotel,fantastic stay. And amazing room. It was only a one night stay ,so we didn't have much contact with staff. But when we did the service was very good

Some of the rooms are pretty dated, it's largely just aesthetic, but the lack of air conditioning is a bit of a nuisance.The price point is good, so provided you show up expecting a $100-150 room you'll be happy

Hotel reception staff very friendly. Whilst the room was clean, the bed was uncomfortable, room needs updating and fridge door didn't shut properly. The safe was not attached to the wall and inaccessible to use anyway. The restaurant was poor, it was empty except for our party that should have warned me. The food was awful and they refused to serve desert to our grandchildren as it was 5 past nine and the food stopped serving at 9. There were no other customers and they only wanted some ice cream. The meal was very expensive for what we were served. I did inform the hotel reception staff who whilst they did apologise for our experience , no recompense was offered. Wouldn't go to this particular hotel again.

Room excellent and clean swimming pool area poor ,dirty tables and chairs rubbish blowing around. Website advised BBQ grills notice on gate to pool area advised to ask to use at office which we did took 20min to get answer that we could seemed very reluctant for us to use them seems they wanted us to eat at restaurant.Had brought BBQ food to cook as above website advised BBQ available, were told by reception could use if we were guest which we were but had no cleaning materials or tools to give us , the one BBQ we used was very dirty the other one so rusted falling apart, also if we wanted plates to borrow from hotel we couldn't had to go to local supermarket to buy cleaning materials and BBQ tools also disposable plates and knifes and forks every other Accomdation we have stayed in supply tools , BBQ cleaner and happy to let you borrow plates. Poor service for guest staying 2 nights. Outdoor areas need tidying around entrances to rooms and definitely around pool area. Rooms well refurbished but service has let us down.

Spacious two room unit in quiet corner of the conviently mid-city located site. Disappointing buffet breakfast provided (only overcooked scrambled eggs, no sausage/beans) compared to the choices on the a la carte menu provided in the room.

In all my years of travelling I have never encountered amazing staff and a amazing room the quality and care of all here is exceptional 100 plus Brooklyn and the team are incredible don’t lose them
