The Lifestyle Vet team care for my animals as if they were their own, and that's saying something! Love their lateral thinking when we're puzzling over a sickly sheep, their thoughtfulness when working with an arthritic goat, their kindness with an injured ducky. To everyone with Lifestyle blocks, you need your own Lifestyle Vet!

We've had our sheep on The Lifestyle Vet Animal Health Plan for almost 3 years and it's been fantastic. The Health Plan takes all the time, hassle and stress out of keeping up with our sheep and their various treatments throughout the year. Laura and her team are dedicated, efficient and knowledgeable. We can't recommend their services enough.

I dont think there are enough words to say how increbible the sevrice is from The Lifestyke Vet team. Not only are they all increible knowledgable but provide the gold standard care to all of our stock. We have used the health care plan for our sheep and it provides such peace of mind. When we have required the team in an emergency, which has been more times than Id like. Laura has been right there at the end of the home. We are incredibly grateful to the team and highly recommend the service.

My husband & I have known Laura and her team for almost 18months now and have enrolled our 5 alpacas into the annual health plan. We feel so lucky to have met such a professional, reliable, and friendly team. Before we met Laura, we had challenges in finding vets who were knowledgeable about alpacas. Laura has expert knowledge and patience in answering our questions and her and her team have taught us so much both at the alpaca handling workshops and with regular advice. They really make an effort to provide excellent service - even going to Waiheke to take care of my alpacas. We highly recommend Laura and her awesome team!

Laura and her team provide an exceptional service with a friendly team of knowledgeable vets and nurses who have all the most up to date information about large animal health and welfare to structure the appropriate preventative health plans for all your lifestyle block needs. I cannot recommend the team highly enough.

Let me start by saying that The Lifestyle Vet service of Laura and her team is absolutely outstanding and simply second to none! They have been working with us for 2 years now and provide health plans and emergency care for our flock of 5 sheep and our 2 kunekune pigs.When we moved to a rural property and adopted 2 sheep, we had no idea of their vaccination status despite our best attempts to find out from the previous owners- however, we knew it was important to know these things and to ensure our 'farm animals' had good prophylactic care in terms of regular treatments/vaccinations. We all hoped we could learn more and more around how to care for them ourselves and spot early problems.Immediately upon meeting Laura, we knew we had made a great decision. She and the team give 100% and are driven to educate people like us to prevent health problems in our animals (which is better not just for our animals but for the greater NZ animal population) and to deal with them as they arise. Laura is a passionate, compassionate, highly skilled, up-to-date evidence-based vet who researches everything and can provide the latest and best care for your animals. She also meets you exactly where you are at; she is well aware that knowledge and care around farm animals varies, and she will carefully chat with you to work out where you sit, whilst always encouraging best ethical and up to date care. She is incredibly personable and nothing is ever too silly to ask.As well as the regular health care plans, we have had Laura and the team out for 'simple' issues such as some laminitis, through to life threatening severe illness. Sadly, we lost one of our sheep; Laura, Lisa, Georgia, Bekky, Mical and Alice were all absolutely fantastic in guiding us through a very stressful and sad time. They took care to see how far we wished to go with investigations to find the root cause of Diana our darling sheep's toxicity, and went way over and above in providing emotional support to us as we navigated the way to euthanising her (our only final option).We have attended a training day at Laura's which was just fantastic for learning about parasites, handling of sheep, pasture and so on.We have also seen the team at work treating our very sick animals -for example performing a blood transfusion which involved taking blood from one of our sheep and giving it to our sick little one, in the middle of our paddock at night- will stay with us for ever; their skill is supreme, and I know (as a surgeon for humans myself) that Laura's veterinary surgical skills are just brilliant.I've mentioned Laura a lot in this review as it is her business, but I absolutely need to emphasise the whole team- we know them all well and cannot speak highly enough of them all- they are simply outstanding and take any of the potential stress out of having 'lifestyle' animals. To us, our animals mean so much, and to have a team who appreciate (and in fact encourage) that- is simply fantastic.I cannot recommend them enough and I am not aware of any other team in Auckland like this amazing one- a BRILLIANT, OUTSTANDING, INCREDIBLE HARD WORKING team who we are so so glad to have in our lives. Incredible, knowledgeable and so human! We have had the fortune of Laura and her team looking after our lifestyle animals for coming up 3 years. I cannot recommend them more highly. The team are really smart and amazingly good at explaining to the lay person really technical disease processes. I particularly admire their approach to comfort and avoiding stress to animals as much as they can. I recommend the health plans - very good value and comforting - I wouldn’t go without.

Laura and her team are amazing. Their service is gold standard and their staff are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They're patient, compassionate and excellent veterinarians.

Laura and her team at the Lifestyle vet are just amazing! They truly care for the animals and will go above and beyond to give them the best care they can. Over the years that Laura and her team have been with us they have always given 100% never any less, their knowledge of animal care is very impressive and they are more then happy to share that with their clients, we have learnt so much! Their lifestyle plans work really well and I would highly recommend them for people who live on a lifestyle block but don’t have the experience with treating sheep etc. we just get to enjoy our pet sheep knowing they have regular checks and preventative care. If you are looking for a lifestyle vet for your animals then look no further because this team is the best!

Taking up a health care plan with Laura and her team has been the best decision we have made for our little farm. Their knowledge and support has been so valuable to us and our animals. They have given us management guidance and also saved the lives of two of our goats (thank you!). They are always available to help and are all such lovely people! Highly recommended.
