I know Vet Services are a business but I certainly left feeling like they are more in it for the money than most animal welfare carers I’ve seen. I took in a rescue dog and thought having been recommended this crowd by the SPCA they’d do a more thorough and full on check up but we were in and out in 10 mins, and there wasn’t even any other customers waiting either. And the manner of the staff was far from nice and friendly. I wouldn’t go back!

My much loved boy was mis-diagnosed as having a tummy bug, given no pain relief for3 days. By the time they realized he had a twisted stomach and operated it was too late. Left in agony for 3 days. Unbelievable

I always choose this vet over any other. Compassionate, caring, respectful. I drove from Clifton to Waikiwi for emergency care for my cat, where the service was amazing. This was 25 years ago! They have helped us with so many different animals over the years and always have been amazing, especially with my dear old cat that has been getting sick a lot and they go the extra mile for him. I appreciate their service, and treatment. Reasonable prices too.

My family has been with waikiwi for about 16 years now. Their expertise has been of great value to me. They love the animals and go out of their own time and way to help where can! Whenever I walk in I am always greeted with warm kind faces and smiles ❤ We have been to other vet practices previous and none are as good as Waikiwi if ask me. We have had our loved pets put to sleep a couple of times with them and their compassion for people's feelings is beautiful. I will never go to another vets. Highly recommended in my eyes. I look forward to many more years of service and friendship with my trusted vets Waikiwi.

Just took my brother's dog in here with some breathing issues. Amazed at how compassionate the vet was with her compared to the cold school teacher like service I've received at Kennington vet for my own dog. Highly recommend.

Had a couple of problems with this vet as there too many vets with different opinions. First time had my dog put on kidney meds when he'd had a heart problem. When he died they apologised for the mistake no compensation. 2nd time with next dog had been there 3 different times, different vet each time, she had scans, different meds within days of each other none of the vets knowing what was really wrong but assured me everything looked OK and she would come right, she died a day after last visit.
