Dee Night ‘n Day

Went in between 7.30-7.45pm 18/1/2020. Bought one and two scoop ice creams. Can't believe how piddly and small the scoops were! Also poorly shaped scoops. Not as generously sized as other workers make them. Therefore it didn't take long to eat them. Not too happy about this.

Pleasant and helpful team members. Handy location. Has a lotto outlet in store ( Google check opening hrs for lotto as outlets may differ from location within Southland ) a wide variety of takeaway food, drinks and hot beverages.

I'm originally from America and traveled a lot of places in the world, and I wanted to give a shout out to Averil (hope I spelled it right!) who is one of the friendliest, helpful, and most genuine people I've ever met. Every time I've stopped by she has gone above and beyond to make sure my experience is good. Even when I come in for those cheap Tuesday deals... Which is every time I go. Great work Averil!As for the store itself, regular prices are a bit higher as it's a 24-hour convenience store, but the cheap Tuesday deals are legitimately good. It's the cheapest place I've found pies, ice cream scoops and iced chocolates so far, so definitely worth a stop!

Just been in this store poor girl in there couldn't do lotto quite a few people waiting and she seemed to be only one working alot of pressure on a young person

They can't seem to make a decent frosty boy. It's so stressful and disappointing I'm giving up. Expensive too.

Store lady is is horribly mean and grumpy. Not the first time this has happened. Had just finished a 12 hour shift and was starving, was putting the food I had paid for under my mask in into my mouth while I was waiting for my last thing. She angrily snapped at me to leave ym mask on (which it was just pulled away from my face slightly) when she wasnt even wearing one herself.This place is disgraceful and you should consider new staff.

It’s not a night and day to be honest I have been there 10:30 and I have been told we dond do food now ! Drove through town stopped there to buy food and had most unwelcome ever ! Told we are not a food service and we do not serve food all the time and tri Mac 24 ! Wow I guess this is just why Collingwood down the road does so well! Don’t even waste your time stopping here drive down 1km and get whatever you would except from here

Please hire people that can make decent coffee! For $5 a coffee i would expect a decent coffee. Next time ill will return the coffee until it is made correctly.This is a common thing across New Zealand. People working in coffee shops and that can not make a coffee if there life depended on it.One star given for a poor Mocha (warm milk with chocolate sprinkles) waste of money.

Unfortunately this is the worst Night n day in town. Never do cash out, about half the fresh food options compared to others, reluctent to do milkshakes and things once its late, and very rude staff! Almost everytime I go in the staff are very rude. Had an instance last week with 2 younger ones training I was happy to wait as they were learning but the blonde lady who was training them was standing there talking horribly about them right in front of them! Instead of helping when they started to get overwhelmed she just kept talking to her friend and watching! Sort it out guys!

Went to buy a energy shake, got the small can of v for the shake then the Indian tried to argue it wasnt the small can, she didn't even apologized when she realized she was wrong, rude and obnoxious! I'll never get served from her ever again. Might even just boycott that shop tbh.
