We stayed in the self-contained little motel unit for 3 nights. The unit was lovely and clean, thoughtfully including all things necessary. The whole camp looked very cared for. It is an excellent example of the type of accommodation it is (motor camp). The host was very friendly and accommodating. We left something important behind and the host was very helpful about getting it back. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing camp. Crystal clean facilities, quiet. By beautiful walks and so close to shops.Brent is a wonderful ambassador for Waiau and shared some many great things to see and do during our stay. The hard stands with grass area are ideal for caravans and Motohomes, then you have lovely grass areas for camping. Walking distance to public pool for those hot summer days.Come and stay you won't be disappointed

Waiau Camp so close to Chch for a quick weekend getaway. It is relaxing, facilities are very clean and the grounds tidy. Also dog friendly. Brent and Kara are excellent hosts. Waiau River also is a good spot to fish and boat. This one to put on your list.

For the money a good place. The town on which it's located is filled with very friendly and open people. The site has all you need. The day we came it was 38 degrees and windy. Did wash and hung up. It was dry in 15 minutes. The caretaker very friendly and gave map with what to see and do in small town.

Fabulous campground in a lovely small north Canterbury town. Very late check in, with a good map to find my room. Shared bathroom very clean. Highly recommended. Very friendly communication.

A family friendly camp which is close to town. Flat powered sites separated by hedge rows offers privacy and shelter. Clean and upgraded facilities. The Laughing Goat on site Food Cart does amazing Blue Cod and chips. Burgers are dam good too.

You'll feel like in a dream sleeping in those little wooded rooms, ideally located. The welcoming is really kind and well explained for late arriving, even for late checkout the owner stays warm with you... Magic night, thanks to you waihau motor camp
