Tried my driving test first time in Frankton branch, was worried about knowing high failure rate but passed in my first go for full license test! Mr Kristoffer is really nice and had a really pleasant experience! I’m very happy about it, only star off from no toilet available, when waiting in cold wind really needed to use before a test started.

Having read some of the appalling reviews I arrived at the testing station with some trepidation. I was 6th in line for my caravan WOF. The line moved quickly, the reception staff were friendly and helpful as this was my first caravan WOF, Only had 3/4 of an hour wait and I was on my way. Very happy with this experience will be back for sure. Don't believe all you read. Colin Campbell

Sat my restricted here twice. Failed the first time and the woman was so lovely with me about it so immediately rebooked. Second woman (either Anna or Anne?) was just as lovely and helpful and I managed to pass. Reception was lovely too. Thank you so much!

Always get a smile from very busy people. They are polite and very helpful. Doesn't matter if something needs doing, their thoroughness gives me peace of mind for all my future driving until next visit comes around.

I passed my practical driving test from here. Not all instructors are cool, but my instructor Phil was very friendly and calm. I did not feel any stress throughout my test. He knows what he is doing and has no intention in failing people unnecessarily.

Vtnz frankton, Mr. Lauri the worst driving road test instructor ever. When i was driving inbetween 50-60km speed range he told i was too slow and driving at 40kms. When at an intersection we should take car safe looking both direction, while he point out you should drive fast. It is very pathetic that people like this become instructors and discriminate. Such a Shame !

The customer service here is absolutely shocking ! There are 2 lines 1 for drivers licensing and 1 for reception/ allOther services it’s easy to miss the sign and a few people including myself were made to feel like idiots because we didn’t look up and see we were in the wrong line . The lady (long hair with a plait ) who sat behind the receptionist line was loud and rude she needs to learn what customer service is and how to treat people with respect ! I will never visit this VTNZ ever again because or the appalling service!

Very disappointed with my experience with vtnz frankton,the instructor doesn't know the road rules as I was going 30km through a school zone which is 40km he said to me your driving to slow its school holidays it only applie from Monday to Friday " and I thought to myself wow that has to be wrong why they have speed signs up for

It was great experience as I appeared in my practical driving test for full license. The instructor (Mr. Laurence) was very polite and made me comfortable throughout the test. I really appreciate his calmness and the way test was conducted. I passed in my first attempt. Will recommend any day.
