Stayed here for our Company Christmas function. Beautiful house, beautiful gardens and a perfect location. Would be great for many different get aways, family weekends, romantic weekends, weddings and loads more! They had everything that we needed and then some - Their beds are a 10 /10! Centennial House Taupo
Our family of 19 (2 grand parents, 4 children and spouses and 9 grand children) experienced a wonderful Easter weekend at the Centennial House in Taupo. The accommodation was beautifully presented and they were able to supply beds for all. The grounds are beautifully laid out and the grand children had a great Easter egg hunt. Altogether a perfect place for a great time in one location for our large family.

Centennial House Taupo
17 friends together for golf at Wairakei over 4 days. It suited our purpose very well, everyone had a great time with the ease of separation to own apartment and the common spaces provided by huge kitchen and dining lounge area. We were looked after well too with smoked trout nibbles on arrival etc It's a few minutes out of town but that actually suited us as it was round the corner from Golf.

Centennial House Taupo
We searched for an accomadation that would cater for our big family of 24. The Centennial house was just perfect ! Even though it was cold outside we were so cosy inside with a the log burner roaring and heat pumps in each of the suites.Plenty of room and privacy for all of us.Well equipped kitchen for a good ol fashion family roast dinner.John and Caroline are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble. They spoilt us with 2 smoked trout caught by himself, wine, chocolate only to mention a few.We really recommend Centennial House for any special occasion.Thank you.

Centennial House Taupo
Our family group of 8 stayed at Centennial House during the July school holidays. This beautiful and immaculately clean property is ideal for providing great shared spaces in a huge house with the added bonus of your own suite and sanctuary. John and Caroline are lovely and thoughtful hosts that went the extra mile leaving us lots of goodies to make our stay really special. We had some issues with lights and cold showers on the first night but John was available immediately to fix any problems. As the weather was dismal outside we appreciated and enjoyed being able to relax in this spacious home taking full advantage of its fabulous large kitchen and roaring fire! Highly recommend.

Centennial House Taupo
We were delighted with our stay at Centennial House for a family reunion in the first week of 2023. We were 7 adults and 6 children so the spacious lounge and large, well-equipped kitchen were exactly what we needed. The bedrooms and en suites were modern and clean. The house is an 8 minute drive to Taupo centre which meant we could easily access its amenities and yet be well away from the frantic town centre at a busy period. And when it was wet, it was easy to play games together in the lounge or get away for some individual downtime. The garden is large and interesting and the outdoor BBQ and eating area was well used.

If you have a larger group and want a quiet yet comfortable spot - this place is almost impossible to beat. We required to be located out of town and be able to host a group for meals of around 20 people at our accomodation. This place ticks all the boxes. Fantastic place with a character setting that makes you feel at home.... I would definitely recommend to any of my quest to stay there.... The owner was very nice approachable and down to earth... Awesomeness!
