The service at Lantern Court went above and beyond expectations. The room was large clean and presented immaculately. I would definitely stay here again!

Lantern Court Motel
We had a large room on the ground floor and it was fabulous! Very spacious and light. The kitchen was super clean and very well equipped. Really comfortable bed. The shower was also excellent with lots of hot water. The lady that checked us in moved our washing from the machine into a dryer while we were out walking. We came back to find that our washing was dry and ready for us. The free WiFi is not the fastest, but we weren't looking to use it for more than checking mail and looking up things to do on our journey. We would definitely stay here again if we were lucky enough to be in Reefton, NZ again.

Fantastic.Location in town can’t be beat, owners are brilliant and gave us an upgrade as it was available with no request from us.Very comfortable and the view of the town from the balcony is great!Thanks for a great stay!

Very friendly, and extremely clean. Has everything you need in the bathroom and kitchen. Great range of tea and coffee Spa bath was lovely. TV, radio/docking station and clock. Best equipped unit we've ever stayed in. Fully equipped kitchen. Four different tea's, two different coffee's and hot chocolate. We would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Great location and fantastic views from 1st floor of the mountains during the day and lights on main street at night. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Cons would be a leaking roof and inadequate shower screen as it was a unsuccessful challenge to not get water all over the bathroom floor and toilet. Also, not enough cutlery and plates and bins are tiny. Only 4 of each were provided, with a family of four that meant a lot of washing dishes which i was hoping to get a break from. Otherwise had a very lovely time.

Reefton small, but a great stop over. My friend and my self had lovely upstairs rooms with balcony and lazy seats, to sip our wine, Our choice. Same downstairs. Ask for Bronwyn she is a treasure, and will look after you, Cook your own meal. four square next door, or dine over at the Hotel. Great story[ over.

This place is a gem! It’s not always easy to find a hotel this inviting in a small New Zealand town. Highly recommend it!
