The service provided by David was absolutely fantastic. We were not very familiar with the ride but he made it so easy and explained and went out of his way to make sure that we were able to return safely. The best place to get a bike and info in Alexandra

Many thanks to Dave at Altitude Bikes for setting us up for an incredible day on the Otago Rail Trail. We rented two bikes that were perfect for the ride (non-electric) and he dropped us off at the Auripo Station for the 48km ride back. Sue was responsive and courteous with her communications and the day was one of the highlights of our trip to NZ. Well worth the cost. Highly recommended.

helped out with some local knowledge about the tracks. Very friendly. Great range of small tools in the case you forget your own (like i did!). If I were to be based in Alex I would likely be using these guys as my local shop. A good range of bikes on offer from reputable brands. Good to see an established shop in some of the best riding country in New Zealand. Keep it up.

Hired 2 e-bikes for a first time go. Dave was a nice guy and very helpful in selecting the right bikes for our abilities and suggesting some suitable tracks. Would definitely like to return one day when we're a bit fitter and do the Lake Dunstan track.

Really great service. Awesome for a small group as bikes were loaded onto the Ute when we got there and we were transported down to Cromwell straight away. Good local knowledge & really friendly. Highly recommend!

Had a great day on the ebikes (I was checking out the opposition's bikes and ours were the better option) on the journey back to Alexandra via the tunnels and bridge's of the rail trail. Thanks for the days adventure!

Dave and the team provided a great personalised service with suggestions whilst we were planning our trip. They organised our Otago Rail Trail accommodation and even ensured that we had reservations for evening meals. Once we got going everything went without a hitch from the airport pick up to the transfer of luggage every day and swapping bikes for the Dunstan track. A truly efficient and personalised service that made our holiday exceptional.Thanks Davey

Dave and Sue picked us up in Clyde after we finished the Dunstan Cycle Trail on New Years Day. They were on time, and super friendly. We were very lucky to find Altitude Bikes as everyone else was either booked out or closed over the NY period! Dave worked around a time that suited us, and they were even able to drop us off directly to our hotel in the Pisa Moorings. Couldn't recommend any more highly. Thank you Dave and Sue for making our ride that much easier!

We organised a trip from Napier to ride the Roxburgh Gorge. Sue was very easy to deal with, great service and lovely bikes. It was very easy. Totally recommend Altitude Bikes.
