Auto radiator repair service

Great service helped when I really needed helping and the reception lady was happy to find answers to questions when she didn't no herself.

Just had our Holden Commodore SS Ute exhaust system overhauled with Oamaru Exhausts & radiators & to our astonishment it has come back a totally better machine, Deane showed me in photographs the parts he replaced & why plus the modifications involved. I can tell by the MASSIVE gain in power that the motor is breathing the way it should be plus improving our fuel economy. To top it off the cost was way below our expectations. This is a husband & Wife business and we can't thank them enough for what they have done. Awesome Company.

Recently purchased a custom alloy radiator from A1 for my Toyota Surf which is one of the many early diesel turbos that have a bad reputation for overheating. This radiator is far and away the best performing radiator I've had in the truck (I have an aftermarket coolant temp gauge that gives me the exact temperatures). I barely see anything more than 4 or 5 degrees above the opening temp of the thermostat now. With previous radiators I'd see temps climb 15 degrees easy, sometimes as much as 25. Runs beautifully cool now. It wasn't cheap but definitely worth every cent. Highly recommended if you want to do the job right.

My car had a major problem and it had to be towed. the team at Saxton took charge of the car from the towies without the need for me being present - Grant who has been attending to my cars for a number of years then scheduled it for a check and ordered the parts and gave a quote for how much it would cost. They will do the repairs and inform me when I need to pick it up

Have been going to Car Therapy for a few years now for WoFs. I’ve had 2 older low end cars in that time and the guys have always been friendly, leave me feeling like it was legit service with no unnecessary work and always get my WoF on time. Recently they fixed something and managed to get a local 2nd hand part for a reasonable price. I’d say since they’ve been around a while they know who to call and how to get a job done keeping the price in mind for customers. Will continue going there and would recommend! :)

I dont even think these guys rate 1 star but you have to tick one minimum to post a review...DO NOT EVER go toTREVOR MORRIS in Onehunga - they totally wasted a heap of our time and money by telling us that my radiator was fine...leading to us replacing my thermostat, water pump, radiator cap, temperature sender, hoses, belts, removing core plugs, checking + rechecking timing etc etc etc! after a second opinion by Auto Radiators (Nixon Street, Grey Lynn) found that the radiator was actually at least 70% blocked + in dire need of a recore, Trevor Morris have point blank refused to refund even what they charged for their shoddy diagnosis, let alone contribute anything toward all the added costs that we incurred due to their incompetence! Although my invoice clearly states 'check + flush radiator' they claim we only asked for it to be painted therefore they are not liable for anything. NOT a company that stands by their work at all. Still going thru some checks to make sure my head gasket is ok too as we had (misplaced) confidence in what they told us + continued to drive the car thinking it was just the sender reading wrong....stay right away + go to the guys in Nixon Street, they really know what they are doing!
