Marineland Motel

Room was sort of ok but not good. Bed uncomfortable. Shower mouldy. Heater eventually got room warm. A few of the lights didn't work. There was still rubbish from the last people staying and the other guests were noisy.

Great shower pressure. Very tidy. Friendly staff.King mattress hard. Not for everyone. Window blind allowed street light in all night. Morning sun radiates in as well. Hopefully, management will fix.That said, great restaurant next door.

Staying in the family units on a very hot summers night. Great for kids of Primary School age as you can walk along the beachfront or the estuary. Restaurant next door have a kids menu with good portion size and great to be able to charge to your room.Unit kitchen is well appointed for a long stay and self catering.Good access to the Expressway and also a short drive to Eastshore and Marine Parade. Will be staying again when in the area.

Please refer to my 2223 character post on TripAdvisor which basically says that, although I have stayed here many times when it was under the management of the previous owners and have been completely satisfied, I would never stay here again and I would never recommend it to even my worst enemy. If I could award it less than one star I would. I left verbal complaints with both of the staff on reception but whether these find their way into your records is a matter for consideration. Potential guests beware!

The room facilities are definitely needed to maintain better or renew. The oven has no baking tray, the towels are fraying, flies are in the room basically, stinky smell in the toilet at night, six people but less forks, spoon, or plates, heated pool in the room but not working. Not a good experience especially during your Christmas holiday. Should be more focus to run the business I feel. The staff is good though.

The hotel was bit expensive but nice. Bed was comfortable and the shower was one of the best ones I have experienced in a hotel/motel. Amenities were perfect, and included the ability to pick DVDs at the front desk. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone traveling through Napier

Very disappointed... air conditioning is standard in many hotel/motel rooms around the world today. Spent a night at Marineland, couldn't sleep well cause of the heat. Looks like they are more interested in profit making than their customers

A great location, clean rooms, included fridge, included WiFi and nice breakfast selection were the reasons I booked with this motel, and they have consistently met my expectations. I've stayed repeatedly at this location and have been pleased with how supportive the staff are. Frankly I find staying here to be more satisfying than a higher end hotel. Highly recommended!

Stayed in one of the units for the first night, couldnt get to sleep as i presumed there were bed bugs, or fleas, the beds were really uncomfortable. Hard as rock. alot of cobwebs in the corners of the room, only one element worked and not the other. Playground looks like its gonna fall apart.. the hedge was finally trimmed but the mess wasnt cleaned up afterwards. So the leaves were blowing everywhere in the wind, and ended up coming inside the front door of the room.. a couple of the plates were dirty. They hadnt changed the little shampoo or conditioner bottles in the bathroom. They were empty and left on the sink.. the heater sounds like it was going to blow up!. The only good thing about the place was the water pressure in the shower was good! Wouldnt recommend .
