The Refinery - DIY Shutters

We recently contacted The Refinery regarding some new shutters in our new renovation and we are so impressed with their service and product from beginning to end. Jenna talked us through the measurements and although there were a few tricky bits about our existing joinery, they were worked out without any fuss. Installation was a breeze and they fit exactly how we envisioned them to fit. We have no hesitation in recommending The Refinery and are looking forward to working with them again soon. Great experience from start to finish. Non annoying online experience to order and then real human to talk to and problem solve afterwards. Jenna went the extra mile. Shutters look great and installation was easier than I thought- although my shutters were pre assembled due to the size. Would recommend the refinery experience!

We found this company excellent to deal from start to finish. The website is the best tool we could find to offer us an exact quote without needing a home visit. The quote was much more within our budget and realistic compared to other companies. We live in rural NZ and it is difficult to get people out to our home so it was great to be able to accept the quote fully through their website. Once the order was confirmed, we received a phone call from the owner to make sure everything was perfect before they started the process of making the shutters. The shutters arrived with Mainfreight and were in excellent condition, they were very well packaged and with good clear instructions to install. We just needed some usual NZ DIY talents - screw in a few screws and levelled it - and it was done. I would definitely recommend this company for the ease of ordering and installing, not to mention the much better price compared to most.

Good quality blind, custom made for an awkward circular shape , alot of effort put in from Jenna getting details right, resulting in a perfect fit , well recommended
