I had to have a covid test and am both very anxious and also a total wuss. From the wonderful human answering the phone who went to lengths to reassure me that it would be okay, to the nurse who had barely finished up dealing with an emergency but who still showed real compassion and kindness. My experiences at Woodham Rd Medical have always been good, but during a pandemic, under massive pressure and they still managed to make me feel listener to and cared for. 10/10 will not hesitate to get a covid test in future because they were so great.

I’ve had an appointment with most of the doctors here over the years and every one has been fantastic. The office is very clean and contemporary. Very handy having the pharmacy attached. Convenient online booking system and prescription request function. I highly recommend this practice.

I had a highly disappointing encounter at Woodham Road Medical, leaving me with serious concerns about the quality of care provided by one of their doctors. When seeking assistance for my son's case, the doctor not only refused to listen but also interrupted me mid-sentence. This dismissive and unprofessional behavior, which is not the first occurrence, has led me to the decision of changing my medical center. I expected more from a professional who has undergone years of training, and I find such behavior unacceptable. I hope this review prompts the medical center's management to address these issues and ensure their staff treats patients with the respect and empathy they deserve.

Dr Howard, Cooper, and Anderson are all lovely and fantastic. Always feel listened to and never rushed, very thorough. Also Ben is the best receptionist I've ever encountered.

I have never been so disappointed with a medical practice. 2 years of ongoing appointments and no solution to my health problems. This practice don’t even deserve 1 star. And just to add, I talked alot, i asked for help, i over and over with no income paid for appointments and Fern Anderson never helped me or even trying to resolve anything.

Great medical centre, reception staff are always super kind and helpful when booking appointments. The GPs themselves have always been great, they make you feel comfortable and listened to. Have enjoyed having these people behind the health of myself and my family for the past 6 years

Have never received such horrible service from a GP. Dr Johnathan Henry Joseph was condenscening, unprofessional and rude. Gave no time to our problems as he brushed over them then had a go at us when he told us to come in after 10 minutes, saying : I said 20 minutes okay do you understand?!" Came in at noon today and the receptionist was also extremely unpolite as she looked me in the face and replied with a rude "What?!" as I asked a question. You're lucky the lady at the pharmacy was nice. The service here was next level atrocious"

I never made an official complaint however, I wish I did at the time.3 years ago during the peak of covid I had an appointment at this doctors. I did not understand how to get inside as they had set up a walkie talkie on a white board and locked the door.Fast forward to me getting inside the rude receptionist yelled out to the nurse JORDAN IS HERE FOR HER SWABS"I felt like everyone in the building was staring at me and I have never been so humilitiated in my life.I cried during my appointment and was gaslighted for reacting badly to that experience.Since that encounter I have had a bad taste about going back and find it hard to get over how rude that receptionist is.I am writing the review now because I wish I did it sooner."

Words cannot express how amazing the team at Woodham road medical are. From incredible reception staff who always have a smile and a cheerful attitude on the phone, to the nurses who give you care and attention and doctors who take your issues seriously and help provide background details to help explain everything. No question is to silly to ask, all staff treat you as a human and give the best care in vulnerable situations. Thanks heaps team, love your work and really thankful to have you as my local doctor ❤️
