Wellington Eye Centre

I would highly recommend getting eye surgery with Wellington eye center. Communication and service were both excellent and throughout the whole process I felt like they went out of their way to check in with me and ensure I was comfortable and informed. The actual surgery/recovery was a breeze and it has been such a game changer having good eyesight. Big thank you to Dr Logan and his team!

The staff at Wellington Eye Centre are fabulous. The communication was top notch all the way and provided reassurance to what was a stressful time for me leading up to the surgery. Hindsight is 20/20, as there was nothing to worry about. I went from - 7.50 and - 7 in each eye to blended vision at the ripe age of 48. I should have done this years ago as I can see clearly now, no more glasses or contact lens!!! Long and short distance vision is superb, it probably took me about 6 months for the vision to settle, but I was functioning fine since the surgery, and would do it again. The whole process was really straight forward with no surprises as the Doctors had covered it all with me prior.

All staff, from the second you walk into the business, are so friendly and accomodating. Had a great experience overall and outcome from my laser eye surgery - wish I got it done sooner! Huge thanks to Josie (my nurse during surgery who eased my anxiousness), Christian (who did the free medical assessment and explained everything v thoroughly), Shannon the optometrist who did the post-op check ups and lastly, to Dr Logan for the life-changing procedure.

I'm delighted! I wore glasses full-time for over 30 years and I now enjoy the gift of clear vision from the moment I wake in the morning. I participate in sport without the fuss of contact lenses. I chose laser blended vision and my eyes now work together so I can continue needle work or reading up close, and also see detail into the distance - it's amazing! The team were very supportive throughout the whole procedure which takes mere minutes!

I was apprehensive, but I really needed to get rid of my glasses. I have blended vision now and it is awesome. It took my small brain about two weeks to get the hang of merging focal points to now where I don't even notice the change when I move from close to far viewing. The procedure was painless until the local wears off and then my eyes were quite sore and felt a bit scratchy for a couple of hours. I just used eye drops to relieve the discomfort. WEC made me very at ease and I went in with confidence that I had made the right decision through the staffs clear setting of expectations and so there were no surprises. Thank you Andrew and the team
