This place is what it is, and what you'd expect around the Dominion Road area stepping back into the 70s & 80s Auckland.Great food, good service, friendly service. The soups are awesome, and the noodles are great too. Been a couple of times now when in the area. Definitely try the deep fried chicken wings as a side!.Good parking outside, big carpark. The only con would be it's Dominion Road so traffic around the area is a nightmare as always. Can be a bit busy in during peak times lunchtime etc.Definitely worth stopping in for a good feed. Don't expect too flashy, if you are a bit on the fussy side then sitting in here is not for you. It's a noodle spot and great for you and the mates to fill up before moving on.Does takeaway also.Will be back gotta love those chicken wings!

I travel out of my way to come here sometimes, although haven’t been recently the quality has not changed however quantity has with a slight price increase.In saying that still as good as my last visit. I liked how the food now comes out in reusable containers now.

Good food, great service. We ordered whole roasted duck, roasted spare ribs, sizzling seafood, fried vege & mapo tofu. A sumptuous dinner overral. We will come back again for sure

I had the roast Duck on rice for $16, good price, big portion. Served in takeaway plastic container and recyclable cutlery. The duck was fresh, nice beautiful skin lying on a bed of bakchoy and rice underneath. The rice however was sloppy and microwaved, it was nuclear hot. I couldn't finish the rice, it was not edible. Maybe i went at the wrong time of the evening but however theres no excuse to be serving microwaved food.

I've been going here for around 10 years. Consistency good food, still reasonably priced. The best salt n pepper fried squid I've found so far.

Top value for money. Generous portions - had to some home for breakfast next day. Tasted just as good the Next day! Kids loved the sweet and sour pork! BBQ just a little dry, but still good. Roast pork skin could have been a little more crunchy. Overall will definitely come back to try more dishes. Quick service as well.

Great sweet sour chicken and salty fish chicken fried rice. The roast duck is good as well but prefer the duck to be a bit warmer maybe w plum sauce.
